It took about 30 minutes to walk to the hotel from the train station and was easy to find. I was impressed with the room as I was expecting to be put into a small room at the back of the hotel like most single travellers, but instead had a twin room on the ground floor. I also liked the tea/coffee making facilities and the fridge which came in useful.

Location is excellent.Staff were very helpfull and friendly,and obviously well trained to do their jobs.Breakfast,although a bit expensive,offers very good choice.

We visit Tilburg fairly often to see friends and watch Willem ii, so wehave tried quite a few hotels in Tilburg. This is the best value formoney overall. It is near to Willem ii football club. The bus to townstops nearby. The staff are very helpful. The room was good, comfy twinbeds and clean. Thick curtains keep the light out and it is quiet.

The staff was very kind and polite , I lost my iphone in the room afterchecking out , they immediately react and I got the info on time and gotback from station and collect . must say a very kind and honest gesture.Internet worked extremely well and free . resturent have limited choicebut suited for me as fish was nicely done. Nice view and calm atmosphere.if you just want to take a rest and relax , this hotel is for you Butif you wanted to live near city life and shopping streets , it is notBut as I was at business trip this just worked very well. I prefer tostay there next time I visit the place.

A really excellent wifi connection, comfortable room, nice diningarea and the reception, great bathroom with a large bath, calm, roomswere warm, plenty of lights and working space (even a proper desk),facing the park.

Great city centre location, we were going to a rock concert at Poppodium 013, which is just a one minute walk away. No car park, but safe indoor public car park very nearby and hotel has a special price deal, normal 24 hour parking is €25, hotel deal is €6. This is not a full service hotel with lots of staff, room service etc, and you may have problems if disabled, lift is very small, plus walking from car park. We didn't see many staff, but when we did they were extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is good and until 11am at weekends ! Rooms good, beds just a bit small and Spartan, bathroom excellent. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Our room was at the side of the hotel so we did not experience late night street noise as reported by others, however the church bells chime on the hour starting at 7am, so don't expect a lie-in ! I was a bit surprised at being asked to pay on arrival, but not a major issue. There is no bar or restaurant so no need to charge things to the room,

Its in the center of the city! 10 min walk from the train station andright along the bar street / shopping street. The hotel has undergone anextensive renovation in the last months (what I can see). The bathroomis beautiful and clean. The beds are clean and comfortable. A bit tosoft and the pillows are a bit thin, but that's because these thingsalways differ from your own bed. Breakfast which was included in theroom price was great. I didn't expect much from the breakfast itself,but there was a wide arrangement of jams, butters, flakes to put on yourbread, a few different selections of cold cuts (hams & cheeses),scrambled eggs, bacon, yoghurt and fruit! All in all a great hotel for anight or two!

Thank you City Hotel for a most enjoyable stay. 2 nights in a tripleroom with all our needs catered for without question and us 3 girls werevery demanding, thanks for putting up with us. Nothing was too muchtrouble from any staff member we encountered, especially have to thankthe night porter who we constantly interrupted letting us in and outafter hours, for a cigarette.We were visiting Tilburg to attend a gig atthe Ppodium 013, perfect hotel for those attending this venue, literally2 mins away, plenty of choice for dining right outside and shopping justadjacent. We hope to back in the near future.

I booked a standard room, but got an upgrade to a priviledge room. Notsurprisingly, I really liked that. The room was very nice, with a rain-shower and a control panel for remote control the lights, tv, andsunblind. The room was very clean and calm. The bed was verycomfortable. There was absolutely nothing to complain about the room.Also, the breakfast was delicious.

Superb location. Very lively street with shops, bars and cafes. It isfull of people until morning because of the bars and cafees. But don'tbe afraid, if you close the windows, you will not hear anything fromoutside. Very comfortable beds in the room. Breakfast was very good...Also great staff, always smiling faces... Highly recommended!!

Very convenient placing, 2 minute walk from train station and a five minute walk away from shopping streets and food places such as McDonalds. Bars, Clubs and nightclubs all walking distance and the owner of the hostel was kind enough to direct you to any place you weren't sure how to reach. the rooms were very clean and we surprisingly had a television with a good selection of channels, mostly in english with dutch subtitles.

Nice staff, nice food, nice little bar downstairs, close to trainstation and to nightlife in Tilburg. Good times.
