The staff at Hotel Vardar were extremely helpful with all our questionsabout the area. The hotel was recently renovated and the bathrooms inparticular are excellent. The hotel is located right inside the citywalls which makes it even more special. Our room was on the 2nd floorand very quiet. Breakfast was excellent - served in a small room off thelobby. We were offered cooked to order eggs, but decided not to partake. But the pastries, toast, fruit, etc were all great. Parking is locatedoutside the city walls, less than 5 minutes away - and is free to hotelguests. The city of Kotor is something special, nestled along side boththe mountains and the bay - definitely worth a visit!

The location is probably the single best thing about the hotel. It's right bang in the centre of Kotor. We also liked the rather kitsch bathroom in our room. Although we booked just a standard room, we got a very big one (for European standards at least) looking on the square, but it was right above the hotel's bar. I think that was because many people ask for a "quiet" room and get put somewhere at the back of the hotel. Happy to report that although we were on the second floor right above the bar, and it was Friday night at peak holiday season, the level of noise was completely fine. You are staying in the middle of a town so can't really expect complete silence.

Nice hotel right in the centre of Old Kotor. Great breakfast. Goodstaff, receptionist is perfect, but room should be more tidy and clean(or just need to change a carpet :) ) . Room was big and silent (3rdfloor Junior suite). A/c working good. I think the hotel is overpriced, but for short stay it's ok. Restaurant was full at evening - meansthey have great cuisine - but because of that we were waiting for teaand botle of the beer for 15 mins... Overall - nice place if youdon't have tidy budget.
