The staff at Hotel Forza Mare, to a person, is incomparable. Friendly, cheerful, helpful, solicitious. The chef at the Hotel is world class andwent out of his way to accomodate my vegetarian diet. The bed was supercomfy, the room was serviced twice daily, and the condition of the hotelis superb. I loved the Turkish steam room and sauna. I was veryimpressed with the overall level of service and willingness of the staffto ensure that the guests are having a great time.

Hotel Forza Mare offers a relaxing and luxurious vacation experience. The beach side, hot tub and sauna are most enjoyable after a day ofsightseeing around the old town of Kotor. Dinner menu is varied andthe chef accomodates dietary restrictions. The cuisine at Forza Marewas one of our best experiences in the area and the breakfasts whichwere included in the hotel price were excellent. Looking forward to areturn visit.

We came to the Forza Mare initially as a day-stop on our honeymoonvacation through the Bay of Kotor Area. We immediately rebooked for afurther two nights at the end of our stay as we were so impressed withthe entire hotel: the wonderful staff, the quality of the rooms, therestaurant, the spa facilities, the location. We found one of ourfavourite hotels in the world and will definitely return.

The staff at Hotel Vardar were extremely helpful with all our questionsabout the area. The hotel was recently renovated and the bathrooms inparticular are excellent. The hotel is located right inside the citywalls which makes it even more special. Our room was on the 2nd floorand very quiet. Breakfast was excellent - served in a small room off thelobby. We were offered cooked to order eggs, but decided not to partake. But the pastries, toast, fruit, etc were all great. Parking is locatedoutside the city walls, less than 5 minutes away - and is free to hotelguests. The city of Kotor is something special, nestled along side boththe mountains and the bay - definitely worth a visit!

The location is probably the single best thing about the hotel. It's right bang in the centre of Kotor. We also liked the rather kitsch bathroom in our room. Although we booked just a standard room, we got a very big one (for European standards at least) looking on the square, but it was right above the hotel's bar. I think that was because many people ask for a "quiet" room and get put somewhere at the back of the hotel. Happy to report that although we were on the second floor right above the bar, and it was Friday night at peak holiday season, the level of noise was completely fine. You are staying in the middle of a town so can't really expect complete silence.

Nice hotel right in the centre of Old Kotor. Great breakfast. Goodstaff, receptionist is perfect, but room should be more tidy and clean(or just need to change a carpet :) ) . Room was big and silent (3rdfloor Junior suite). A/c working good. I think the hotel is overpriced, but for short stay it's ok. Restaurant was full at evening - meansthey have great cuisine - but because of that we were waiting for teaand botle of the beer for 15 mins... Overall - nice place if youdon't have tidy budget.

The service level of the staff was superb, going way beyond the ordinary. For example, the receptionist called after us landing at Tivat airport to check if we had the right driving directions to the hotel. This was a first for me, and much appreciated. I also liked the very nicely renovated interior of the hotel, a nice mix of baroque and modern style. Finally, the location with wonderful views across Kotor bay was very good.

Stunning scenery - mountains, sea... Views from room - closer to the sea than any hotel I have ever stayed in. Calm area - can walk along waterfront with very few cars to disturb the peace. Small hotel, only 10 rooms, so nice personal feel.
