We are so happy and lucky to have picked villa maria. luccaand lucky, two hardworking and personable young villa maria’s staffpeople ,were so effcient and did so much to make our stay veryenjoyable. the villa maria is so much more than a hotel. it was anactual villa with beautiful grounds ,wonderful views, and a mix of oldand modern tuscany.

The hotel was far newer (refurbished) than expected. We took the attic and were very pleasantly surprised with the offering. The gardens were very pleasant with a nice view over the town.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria. The room was not the biggestone but was very clean. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Thehotel also has a nice swimming pool.

Clean and tidy - both room and the hotel itself, excellent and very helpfull staff, free parking which is behind closed gate opened only by a key given by the hotel staff, great breakfast, good location in Tuscany - easy to get from and to the autostrade and is in the middle between Firenze and Pisa, the price is very low comparing to hotels in Tuscany.

This hotel is an old hotel which has been perfectly modernised and someof the features in the rooms are up to date with most new hotels. Thehotel is in a great location for getting into the centre of Montecatini. Great breakfast, better than some breakfasts you get from 4 star hotels. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had air-conditioning. The breakfast was also good as were the dining areas. All in all my wife and I thought that the hotel was first class and we would recommend it to anyone staying in Montecatini Terme.

Perfect location on the main street near a park and a short walk toTerme Tettuccio, a very nice Liberty style spa (not a modern spa but onefor relaxing and taking the waters). Because the street is closed totraffic in summer, it’s pleasant to sit on the hotel’s front terracealong the street. Largebathroom so although the shower got the floor very wet, it didn’t reallymatter. It was a good bargain on the room rate for a nice hotel.

What a find! My wife and I and two friends booked in for the last nightof our holiday. The hotel is situated on a smart street opposite a veryelegant opera house. All this for 59 euros. I’m sure this price will vary, but thisis what we paid per room.

This hotel feels like a spa hotel and the bathrobes are a nice touch. It has a beautiful glassed-in restaurant in the front, as well as cafe tables. The breakfast has a good selection of fresh fruit, as well as gluten-free items. They give a 10% discount card for the wonderful spa services just across the street.

The hotel owners are very nice and helpful people, the lady speaks fewlanguages so it’s easy to communicate, breakfast was really good,excellent choice plus some really fresh and tasty typical Italian cakesand desserts (every morning a few different ones), room was mediumsize, very clean with large bathroom and shower, air-conditioningworked perfectly, there’s a private closed parking just by the hotel,costs 7 euros per night stay, there’s a wi-fi at the hotel, you can geta username and password from the reception and it costs around 2 or 3euros per 6 hour usage, which was enough for me for 3.

The hotel is in a central position although if with car you have to usethe hotel parking which in my opinion it should be free of charge. It is clean and the breakfast is more than enoughalthough it lacks the English type of toasted bread. In fact there isno toasting machine and sliced bread. On the whole I highly recommendthis hotel and if I have to go to Montecatini again I will book thesame hotel.

Evening meals arereasonably priced and good quality - the best lasagne I have evertasted!! Booked this hotel after reading the reviews on-line. When Ireturn to this area I will definitely stay in Hotel La Pia again.

On arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner of the hotel and made tofeel welcome. It is a lovely 1920’s hotel but with modern comforts. Nothing was a trouble to either the owners or the hotelstaff who were willing to help in every way in a charming manner. Thereis an adequate swimming pool with loungers, towels and also a smallgarden area with a terrace where you.

This is a really different hotel for Italy. It has a lovely Queenslandstyle verandah/beer garden at the front of the hotel with palms andother tropical plants. Greatlocation to spas and the towns beautiful gardens. A lovely hotel in alovely town.

We stayed only one night,due to a terrible thing that happened that night to one of our closest relatives( in Romania). So, we had to leave in the next morning the hotel and Italy, even we intend to spend one week here. In such conditions we noticed the warm, sympathetic and nice behaviour of the hotel staff and the owner. We will remember this, we thank them and we hope that once we will come back.
