The hotel has real character and charm, if slightly faded. Large rooms with plenty of wardrobe space and big comfortable beds. I wouldn’t change a bit of it. It is in a lovely location and in Summer it has the advantages of a small pool and shaded garden areas. Within the green belt and most desirable area of Florence it is still on the tourist bus tour route and service buses leave regularly from outside the hotel gate. Good variety at breakfast and accomodating staff. My mother has walking difficulties and is registered disabled. Although the hotel wrote to us saying that they had no disabl.

This is the only hotel we would reccommend in Florence. Shewas able to show us the entire area around Florence from this small gemof a hotel. It is more like an exclusive villa than hotel. Staying inPark Palace, which was apparently the Swiss consulate at one time, givesone the opportunity to experience the hillside/Tuscan flavor of theFlorence area.

I liked the home atmosphere and feeling safe. Hotel staff most cordial and thoughtful. Making friends amongst the guests came natural since we were sharing a Villa: we were all guests in a wonderful villa. Excellent complement to experiencing Florence. The rooms were decorated in the style of what I had seen of European hotels in old movies, even down to the ceramic key bob you left at the front desk when you went out. Excellent location, very romantic and scenic views of the river Arno and Florence’s bridges and classic riverside buildings. We could easily walk to everything we wanted to visit in central Florence. My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our seven day stay at the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location. The decor is suitable for a city like Florence with its decorated ceilings etc. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the friendly cup of cappucino each morning was great.

We had a very good experience there - the hotel is very well located, the room was big enough and very comfortable and clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast, which was included in the price, super good too. We liked very much the location, which is in the centre of the city, very very close to everything: dome, ponte vecchio, palazzo vechhio and so on. We chose this hotel because we wanted an apartment for 6, and it was the only hotel providing it. Actually, the apartment had 2 rooms, 1 with 2 twin beds and the second with 3 twin beds and a sofa. We especially liked the hall room between the reception area and breakfast room, with nice decor, flowers and music, and sit there after our breakfast for some minutes.

Hotel Pendini is very good tree stars hotel, equipped with furniture caracteristic for period during which the hotel was established, bedroom and bathroom are clean, linen is changed every day, breakfast is varied. The hotel is located at’’very heart of Florence’’, 10 minutes from the bus station (’’Cita’). The staff is friendly, parking is provided.

The hotel was well equipped and in a good location. It’s a 15min ride and the hotel is a short walk away. There are a number of small cafes and grocery stores on the walk to the hotel. There is also a supermarket opposite the hotel recepti.

After a very bad night train experience from Dijon, France, we arrived at First Florence. Our apartment was ready on arrival and it was early morning. When we saw our apartment we were more than pleasantly surprised! It was lovely with all the extras with a tray of fresh fruit, food supplied for aa day or so and a bottle of chianti all on the house. The apartment far exceeded our expectations in every way - it even had a washer and dryer and fully equpped kitchen.

A lovely hotel in an excellent location for seeing all the best of Florence. The hotel staff goes out of their way to help with everything from making reservations to making your stay as comfortable as possible. The free breakfast across the street at the OK Bar makes it even more special. I will always stay at the First of Florence whenever I am in Florence.

Electricity and heating are charged locally (meter reading). Car park 5 minutes on foot from the apartment. Possible to use a pay as you go mobile phone ( IT5270. We did have trouble finding the hotel as only a tiny plaque stuck tothe wall by large wooden door so easy to miss! Hotel was lovely withinan apartment building very quiet, clean room and spacious. Freeinternet access in room which was ideal when booking tickets formuseums, etc. Breakfast was varied with the usual toast, eggs,croissant, cereal and yogurts and even home made cake. I would say thatmy tea was always just warm and not hot so wasnt the best tea but apartfrom that I have no issues. Perfect location 2 mins walk to Duomo whatmore could you ask for!.

This small bed and breakfast--located very close to the Duomo--had modern rooms and a homey feel. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable of the city. In addition to wi-fi, each room had its own computer, and there were movies available to watch as well. There was also a jacuzzi and sauna that looked really nice. The breakfast was good and the mini-bar prices were cheap! All in all, this was a very nice place to stay for touring Florence, and it would also be a great hotel for doing business in the city.

Very convenient to the train station; appreciated the map that Floriosent us. Florence is easy to walk around. Lots of gelatostands!Breakfast isn’t the greatest, but there is a market just a fewsteps outside the hotel front door where you can pick up bakery, fruit,milk, wine, suntan lotion, etc. If we return to Florence, we’lldefinitely return to b & b!.

The hotel personel were kind and willing to help all the time. The hotelis located very near the main touristic points of Florence, and it ispossible to go every place by a short and pleasant walk. Also itslocation very close to the city train station is very convenient.

This hotel is wonderful - the owner was very nice and welcoming, sheoffered to reserve places for us in attractions in Florence for noadditional cost. In contrast with other hotels, breakfast is served forall guests in a single long table, creating a pleasant and warmatmosphere.

I would highly recommend this family run B&B! It is in a convenient location within walking distance to all of Florence’s museums, shopping and restaurants! A good variety for breakfasts and very helpful friendly staff. Aurelia was a delightful hostess and recommended several great restaurants nearby. Europcar rental office only a block or so away too, so if you are dropping off or picking up an Europcar rental car in Florence, this B&B is ideally located.

We spent two nights at Eden Rock hotel and I must say this is the besthotel I ever gone in Italy! The hotel is really marvelous, nicelocalisation, beautiful view, very confortable hotel. The hotel isalmost new, with a lot of confort and amenities, the swimming pool isvery nice and well integrate in the environment. The room are quitespacious and with all you can expect from a 4stars hotel. The only weak point will be the lack of the managemen.

Eden Rock is an exceptionally beautiful resort. High in the hills ofFlorence the views are spectacular. We wanted to stay outside ofFlorence since we were only passing through and staying for one night. It was not full so the hotel manager upgraded our room. We would love to return to spend more time at Eden Rockand explore Florence.

Hostel Archi Rossi is one half Hostel and one half Hotel. It was just a hostel and then it bought the hotel next door. So if you are on a tight budget you can stay in the hostel part or if you don't mind paying extra and like some creature comforts like your own bathroom, air conditioning, TV and computer in your room you can stay in the Hotel side. There were three of us and we stayed in the Deluxe Triple room on the Hotel side for 105 Euro per night which we thought was great value considering the central location. The breakfast was adequate, done in a production line style. Although we did not eat there at night the restaurant also served dinner, it seemed to be very inexpensive, the menu had a variety of pastas and pizzas for 3 Euro and you could buy a bottle of wine for 2.50 Euro. We did the free walking tour which goes for 1.5 hours, it was informative and gave a quick overview of the major sights and history of Florence and plenty of tips of what you where you go etc plus a ma

Located not far, about 5-8 mins walk from main train station. Hosteleasy to find. We stayed in a private twin room facing courtyard. Thehostel is a mix of dorm/ backpackers and private rooms. Our private roomis good size with clean bathroom. Decor is dated but good enough for ashort stay. We even have our own pc in room with free internet access.If you are looking for luxury, modern accomodation. This is not theplace but you looking for value for money, private room, clean shower,good location, this is a good choice. Esp young couples. They servebreakfast at the hall. Budget kind. Also conduct free city walk. We leftthe tour halfway as I can barely understand the tourguide but her poorenglish and is the least enthusiastic one ive seen. There is alsowasher/dryer in common area. Suited to what we need. Will recommend!Also good restaurants on the street. 5Mins walk to lorenzo leathermarket n duomo. They also sell cheap beer $2 euro.

We loved the hot breakfasts made to order (try #9; it is a two-eggcheese & ham omelette with toast), the lovely courtyard with stonebenches to sit on in the evenings, the private double-bed rooms that arejust like normal hotel rooms with ensuite bathroom, and the in-roomcomputers and free wireless. The desk staff are always there and oftentwo people are there to serve guests. You can purchase a wide selectionof cold drinks and snacks in the foyer at very good prices. We were notthe only mature guests, although the majority seem to be young (twenty-something) but well behaved. The location is fabulous: easy to find fromthe train station, and within walking distance of many restaurants,cafes and Gelaterias, and a short walking trip to all the best touristsights. We were impressed and did not expect such great facilities froma "hostel" with such a modest facade on the street.

It was (mostly) clean and the room was a good size for six people. Itseemed pretty safe and was in a good location. Not too noisy at nightunlike some of the other youth hostels in Florence.
