We were upgraded to a suite on arrival. Views from the room and also the hotel superb - right in the middle of Assisi. Average breakfast - spa looked promising but the receptionist could not contact the masseuse, which was disappointing as it was only mid afternoon. We had an evening meal in the hotel, which again was a little disappointing - I had to return my beef main dish as it was cooked rare and medium rare as asked.

Hotel Giotto is a family owned hotel, with the class of a four starhotel but also the feeling to be home. The vue from our rooms was adream, the food was incredible, the employees were so welcome that wethought we could ask for the moon and the owners were always very niceand willing to help. It was extremely difficult to leave this place. Apart of our heart will stay there and we will come back very soon inthis gorgeous Umbria and stay for sure in Hotel Giotto because now weknow what we will receive !.

The hotel was small but lean and comfortable. Most of te staff were very friendly and made our stay most pleasant. The location of the hotel in Assisi made it easy to get to all the attractions.

The owner and her son with both very friendly and helpful, especially with getting around town and restaurant recommendations. The room and bathroom were very clean, and breakfast was basic but nice. The view from our room was beautiful, and the hotel was in a convenient location. The free internet connection was a nice bonus.

The location in the heart of medieval Assisi adjacent to one of the ancient churches and the authentic decor paired with modern conveniences such as a tiny perfect kitchen contained in an antique armoire of the small apartment, and our own private garden complete with olive tree and pomegranate tree with a view overlooking the valley made the San Crispin the perfect place to spend Christmas. A very kind and efficient staff as well!.

When combining the quality of hotel, staff and location, this has to be one of the best overall holiday hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had. It is actually even more than it states in the website being a small converted 13th century monastery with 7 exquisite suites with enormous character and atmosphere. The staff were some of the most attentive and helpfull we have experienced anywhere in the world and they were obviously ver.

Room was very comfortable with a private bath, and shuttered window looking out on quiet street. Room was very clean. Elevator available to go to room which helped with luggage. Wonderful, filling breakfast included in price - cereals, croissants, pastries, coffee, juice. Very pleasant dining area. Hotel an easy walk to bus to take to train station. Also has a resturant, and bar area.

A perfect place for a perfect holiday. The staff (the owners, in fact)are wonderful. We had a perfect dinner cooked by "mama". The only wordthat can describe the location, the view and the surroundings is"perfect". After all the not-so-nice experiences at the hotels in bigcities of Italy, this place was just like heaven.

This is a very quiet place, a little bit outside of Assisi. Staff, twobrothers, is extremely gentle and helpful. Breakfast was very good,prepared by the mamma. She is quite a woman! You can buy her needlepoint tapestries exposed all over the place. She is quite an artist too.Parking is free and safe. There is a restaurant nearby, very wellsituated with a dining room offering a countryside view. Staff there isalso very kind... And prices are very very affordable. From the hotel,we are about 10 minutes from Assisi, but the basilica visit is veryshort indeed, I mean it's simple (heard almost empty) This was my firstexperience with booking.com and I will use it again.

We were a group of 4 adults that shared a spacious, clean, airy roomwith an amazing view of the countryside. It was peaceful, beautiful andrelaxing. The shower had great pressure and the towels were thick andbig; unlike other hotels in Italy. The buffet breakfast was outstandingwhich included among other yummy choices, fresh, homemade breads. Mostof all, we enjoyed Emiliano, his brother Diego and their mom whom wereall helpful, informative and accommodating in every way. We evenpurchased a liter of olive oil made from their harvested olives thatsurround their hotel!

a wonderful location in th emiddle of the appennines , 12 km form the centre of Assisi ( 15 min by car) and form many other nice medieval villages in umbria. We enjoyed the festival of medieval arts and crafts in Bevagna on saturday night. The owners are very courteous and take very good care of you without being invasive of your privacy and give very good advises on local activities and entertainment. Room was very spacious and comfortable, with annex mini kitchen and outside table for dinner or breakfast.

10 nights we stayed here and we enjoyed the sunny weather, the swimmingpool and most of all the quietness of the beautiful surroundings. The owners were very helpfull in suggesting what to see and to do. They offered us refreshments spontaniously and their children were very charming to us. Assisi is a 20 min. drive and you can do your shopping or go out for a dinner or a stroll. This agriturismo is a true oasis.

a wonderful location in th emiddle of the appennines , 12 km form the centre of Assisi ( 15 min by car) and form many other nice medieval villages in umbria. We enjoyed the festival of medieval arts and crafts in Bevagna on saturday night. The owners are very courteous and take very good care of you without being invasive of your privacy and give very good advises on local activities and entertainment. Room was very spacious and comfortable, with annex mini kitchen and outside table for dinner or breakfast.

The Staff are friendly. I felt like, I was at home for Christmas. I willbe returning and would recommend Cittadella to others as well.
