We had the most delightful room ( 426), which was spotlessly clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our package included two 'Dinners' . The first of these we took as a couple and the food was good, as was the service. However, we invited friends to join us for the second meal and sadly that evening, we were very disappointed. I chose the Turkey, which frankly appeared as though it were packaged, the supply of vegetables was sparse. The waiter, spoke poor English and seemed to have difficulty understanding what we required. It sadly was reflected in our guest, who is a Wexford resident, commenting " The Talbot is not what it was", which was a shame as I don't feel it refected the hotel as a whole.

The hotel staff, reception, bar and function rooms were very pleasing. Warm welcome from friendly staff. The breakfast room was short staffed both days with the need to ask for assistance on various occassions. The Bedrooms were extremely disappointing. I had requested a non smoking room however due to limited rooms no non smoking rooms available. Terrible room with wall paper pealing from wall. Terrible. Moved to new room which was functional. I will not be recommending the hotel to friends or family for overnight stay however for daily visit certainly.

I stayed in the Whitford House Hotel last June (2010) for two weeks. It was a memorable and most enjoyable stay. All the staff were particularly helpful, very efficient and extremely courteous. I was working with a colleague on soil surveys in Co Wexford, with Teagasc staff based at Johstown Castle. The Whitford location was ideal and the leisure centre (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc) was particularly welcome after hard physical work on the long survey days. I would always choose the Whitford when visiting Wexford.

It is so rare to come across an establishment where the staff are sogenuinely friendly and helpful, that it left us with such a warm feelingabout the place. Everyone was so accommodating and willing to go thatextra mile to help. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, the roomwas cosy & spotless, the leisure centre was great fun and a fab facilityfor the inclusive room rate - all-in-all a great hotel.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Whites of Wexford, it was soconvenient for leisurely shopping during the day and lively bars andnumerous restaurants in town at night but we dined in the restaurant ofhotel one evening, everything from food and service excellent and in barthe second evening, also gorgeous food and wonderful service. There wasentertainment in bar each evening, good singer with guitar etc but wethought he was a bit lost in front of kitchen area, maybe he could be ina more prominent spot and more people might appreciate him. Leisurefacilities were excellent, also spa area lovely, used it previous visitbut not this time.We also had time for a drive to Johnstown Castle whichis always good despite the rain this time.

Whites Hotel is one of the nicest relaxing hotels I have ever stayed in.The staff could not do enough for us. We had our 15 month old baby withus and they made our stay so relaxing and easy. The swimming pool isgreat for spending family time. They have a fab little coffee dock wherethe cakes and coffees and afternoon tea is fab!! All in all we can'twait to head back to White's hotel. :)
Aoife  — 10.11.2011.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They couldn't have done more for us even keeping the bottle of wine in a fridge in the restaurant so that we could drink it the following night in the bar or restaurant- it's the little things... The tranquility spa was excellent and great value for hotel guests at just €20 pp. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing atmosphere.

Damien and Siobhan give guests a great welcome. We stayed during theWexford Opera Festival and as an extra afternoon tea with homemade cakesetc was served each day. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Towelswere changed each day. The buffet breakfast was truly magnificent. Thecooked breakfast was done separately for each guest.
Chris  — 23.1.2012.
Friendly staff provided a relaxed welcome. The premises were immaculate and our tastefully decorated bedroom offered superb views of a large well kept garden with Wexford harbour beyond. Excellent breakfast menu. We stayed for one night, but staying a week would have been a pleasure.
Mary  — 26.12.2011.
The breakfast was delicious. I have never seen such an array of fruit orsuch an extensive menu for cooked breakfasts. The staff were veryfriendly. Its a perfect location as you can walk down to the main streetin only a couple of minutes and the restaurants in Wexford are superb.

From the moment I arrived I was welcomed with a warm smile and a friendly grreting from (Niamh) the proprietors Susan and Dan's daughter. Having driven down from Dublin, the hotel was easy to find, clearly marked and close to everything, beach, town and local restaurants. I woke every morning to a fully Irish breakfast that kept me going all day. By far the best fish chowder and pint of Guniness I have ever had. Higly recommended, go stay with these folks you will not be disappointed.

I was on a self guided tour of Ireland. With my poor map reading skills,I ended up in Drinagh. The hotel is a lovely family run business and thestaff went far above and beyond to get me back on the right track to mysight-seeing adventure. If you should happen to Drinagh stay at the inn.You will not be disappointed with the service, food, room, and most ofall the staff!
Karen  — 20.10.2011.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was located a couple of miles outside Wexford which meant the journey into town was short by taxi, it also meant that we could make the journey on foot.
