A clean and comfortable hotel, great value for the money paid.Restaurant food was great quality and also value for money. The hotel islocated in a quiet residential area, a short walk (10 mins) along theriverbank to the city quay. Good location for a visit to the WaterfordCrystal factory showroom and city shopping, pubs, restaurants etc. I would recommend the Waterford Marina Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable value break in the city.

While the hotel is situated in the city of Waterford, it is located in a quite street at the riverside and close to the people's park. It is also close enough to the main shopping area, Waterford Chrystal, Christchurch Cathedral and many good restaurants. I was very pleased with the room as we had a view of the river with no buildings overlooking our room. A river boat trip was also available near to the hotel's entrance which we took and enjoyed. The cost for staying 3 nights B&B with one evening meal was very affordable, especially being a bank holiday weekend. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the rooms where nice and comfortable. Their brown bread was lovely.

Having travelled on the ferry over to Ireland Waterford seemed to be agood first stop for our holiday and we booked a dbb package at theMarina Hotel based on previous reviews. The staff at reception wasextremely helpful with the check-in and with finding a dedicated parkingspace for us as the main hotel car park was already full. The room wewere given was a large family room with fantastic views over the marinaeven though we had only booked a standard double room. Travelling with ababy we did request a cot which was not in the room when we arrived butwas promptly put in whilst we had dinner. Our booking included a threecourse dinner in the hotel restaurant with a good variety of choices andfresh food that was well cooked and presented. We slept well andbreakfast the next morning was a good choice of freshly cooked food froma hot buffet as well as a continental menu including cereals, toast, jam, croissants, pastries and scones. All in all a very good hotel andgreat value for money, too
