Found it very nice hotel but found one reception girl very unpleasent and also a girl in the bar, as asked her for a coffee and she nearly throu it at me no thank u or any thing and I think she was one of the senior girls as she had a black suit on her, staff problem but hotel was lovely and clean

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. I loved the relaxed, easygoing atmosphere and the spaciousness of the hotel. I absolutely loved the library - lovely to sit in to relax with the complimentary papers and a nice cup of coffee after breakfast. Or alternatively the lobby which is spacious, lovely to people watch. The bar food was excellent and bar staff could not be more helpful in all respects. They went the extra mile.

It's negative I'm afraid as when we arrived we were put in room 205 which we were told later was an overflow room we were paying a rate of €170 and did not appreciate this but when I told reception that I did not like the room she immediately changed it for me to room 258 which then had no fridge for my husbands medication and when I asked for one I waited for more than 5 hous to get one this was a major inconvenience for us but luckily my friend had a fridge in his room which we used. As a result we won't be recommending your hotel to our friends. My husband works in hospitality and could have publicized your hotel to a great number of people it's unfortunate and I could go on but I'll let my friends speak for themselves as they have complaints aswell.

From the moment we arrived it was top class from the gentleman to parkyour car to the bellboy to bring your luggage to your room you felt likea real star. Food in the hotel was reasonably priced ,room serviceduring the night was good was delivered quick enough well before theother half fell asleep!! Had breakfast brought up in morning and waswheeled in a trolly which could be let up into a table and the fullirish was the nicest I had in any hotel the porriage and danish pastryswere fab too all in all totally enjoyed our stay and will be back in thenot to distant future

The staff were fantastic and as it was our Wedding anniversary, we wereupgraded to an executive suite as no additional charge and had choclatesleft for us as a welcoming gift by the hotel. My wife and I thouhgteverything was fantastic and the staff were extremely helpful andcourteous at all times. The food in Jindees restaurant was superb and Iwould highly recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a romanticweekend away. Also use of the Health Club on the Sunday before we leftwas a great treat and the jacuzzi is a definite for anyone who has alate sdaturday night!! Thanks again, Graham.

Amazing! My husband and I booked a one night pamper break for our 12th Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed. The hotel is luxurious and the staff and friendly and really helpful. We first stopped at the Spa and spent 3 hours being pampered. The hydrotherapy pool was amazing, really relaxing, the relaxation room was lovely and well equipped and a lovely way to spend 15 minutes before being brought in for our treatments, drinks, sorbet and fruit were all complimentary. Our treatments were amazing. I felt so Totally relaxed at the end. We had dinner in La Perla within the hotel which was fabulous. The food was really nice and the wine was fab too. We then went upstairs to the bar where there was live music, really good, and then we went to the Residents bar until 3am!! We had such a fantastic stay. The rooms are lovely. Beds are so comfortable, hotel was clean, well equipped and quiet. I stay in lots of hotels through business and pleasure and cannot wait to com

Hotel modern, clean, excellent facilities and, being in the centre oftown, ideally located for visiting Kilkenny. Our room was excellent. Wedidn't use the resteraunt but Breakfast was very good. Staff friendlyand helpful. Spa/swimming pool excellent. Parking available close by for5 euros per night. Can't fault this hotel in any way. We thoroughlyenjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the room was extremely comfortable and clean and the decor excellent. The staff were exceptionally courteous and efficient and so nice and friendly and to be commended on their excellent service to customers. It was great to be so local to shops and bars and Kilkenny Castle and only a 10 minute walk from the train. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My eighty year old mother, two younger sisters and I booked two deluxerooms for our four day stay at the Kilkennyh Ormonde Hotel. The food was very tasty; hotel was clean and well maintained; staff were very polite, pleasant, and professional at all times. Great sports centre too. The general manager called a taxi for us on our day of departure and actually helped carried our luggage to the taxi. What great service! We will definitely recommend your hotel to family and friends.
