Myself and my wife booked the trip to relax as my wife had just had major surgery, and this was an excellent venue in which to view some very lovely scenery and enjoy the comforts of an idealy located hotel out of the town. The stay was made more enjoyable once we arrived when greeted by some of the best hotel staff i have had the pleasure of meeting, having stayed in many hotels and various locations throughout Europe this is not an idyl boast but a genuine feeling that would make you proud of being from this isle. I enjoyed the feeling of total confidence that if i asked for anything i would not be greeted with a grunt and confused look, but the opposite, as any request was met with a smile and dealt with immediately also any question regarding the best locations to eat and view were instantly passed onto you without bias towards the hotel itself. I will visit Sligo again and without doubt would use the same hotel and hopefully bring more of my familly for an excellent short break.

I have stayed in lots of hotels around Ireland and this hotel is one of the nicest I have stayed in, the hotel is lovely the rooms are big and bright with lovely bathrooms. It's the staff that make this hotel really special they are all a credit to this hotel, other hotel staff should come to this hotel and see how it should be done. From reception, bar staff and the girls that clean the room's all the staff are exceptional.

The hotel from the outside was beauiful with promises of a reallyluxurious stay. The reception and bar area were well maintained withplenty of guests around to give it a really busy feel. We arrived forcheck in early and even though our room wasn't yet ready, we were ableto complete all necessary check in details and able to use all thehotel facilities. Sandra was particularly helpful and very friendly andprofessional. Breakfast was plentiful with a self service set up. Ourrooms were comfortable with a fridge, kettle and microwave. Thebathroom was huge!

The Clarion Hotel, Sligo is the best hotel I have ever stayed in.Facilities were first class and the food was terrific. The only problemwas the layout of the lifts which made access to the rooms, in the firstinstance, rather difficult. To get to our rooms we had to manouvre longcorridors and two lifts. Otherwise excellent.

We were only staying for 1 night but I found the hotel very nice, in a great location and the staff were excellent. We had a lovely meal in the hotel bar and again the staff and service were excellent. The only downside is the car parking facilities, if you are lucky enough to get parking in the small hotel carpark, I would strongly advise not moving your car if possible because it can be very difficult to find parking near the hotel when the car park is full, There is only a limited amount of spaces for the whole hotel. Apart from that, we look forward to returning to Sligo Park Hotel very soon.
Ann  — 27.10.2011.
Myself and my 12 year old were in the hotel just for one night and thestaff were so friendly. The Bar food was lovely especially where itsalways hard to get nice child friendly food ! It was no problem orderingwhat we wanted. For one night the bedroom was very clean , plenty oftowels and great to have a kettle etc. If I were staying longer I wouldfind the room a bit small but thats about it. The shops are just aroundthe corner from the hotel so I will definately be back when passingthrough Sligo again. The Mc Nallys.
Peter  — 6.11.2011.
Very comfortable hotel with all the amenities you would expect of ahotel of this kind. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is welllocated right in the centre of the city and can be seen clealry if youare approaching Sligo from the north. It is also signed from the railand bus stations. We used the secure car park which is located the therear of the hotel. Bar and bar food prices were very reasonable forIreland. We would certainly stay there again if we ever visit Sligo.

To tell the truth we were not very impressed by the suite at all. we were on the top floor which we didnt like and there was a damp smell in our room and stains on the floor. the quilt covers were ripped and didnt fit the beds properly. we were very disappointed as we have stayed in the main hotel and had an excellent experinence there.
Anonymous  — 7.2.2012.
I really didn't like the accommodation, on arrival the room was freezing, no heat on, just a switch on storage heater. The place seemed cold but did suit what we needed it for just a bed for the night. The room was very clean. No hotwater! so went home without shower.
Emma  — 8.3.2012.
The rooms were comfortable and close to the main hotel which made theman excellent value for money option. The man on reception at the suiteswas very pleasant and accommodating.
