I found the hotel is one of the best I have stayed in - when it comes toundistrubed sleep. No doors slamming - no late night voices - I wentthere to go to a party in the area and did not want to drive home solate. I had a good sleep in as I returned to the hotel pretty late.Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I wouldrecommend this hotel to anyone I know using Shannon Airport - as I workthere and it comes in very handy in the winter time when roads are badwith Frost !!!!

The staff at the Oakwood Arms were polite, friendly and very helpful.They gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The roomswere clean and spacious with all the things you need provided. Theatmosphere was calm and quiet perfect location for families to stay in.The food in the Bar was lovely and good value, drinks were reasonablypriced also. The location was ideal, close to Shannon Airport, localshops and Bumratty Castle which is a must see tourist attraction. Woulddefinately stay at this hotel again, no negative comments to make. Iwould recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to stay in Shannon .

I really liked the decor. Loved all the photos and as I am a nurse,loved the outfits in the front lobby. The staff were very pleasant andour meal in the dining room was excellent with lots of selection. Ourbreakfast was the best that we have experienced in the 10 days oftravel, with again, lots of variety and quality of food. The parking wasgreat as there was plenty of room (driving on the other side was achallenge). The location was wonderful for our flight out the nextmorning. My daughters appreciated the Wifi and in general, all was good.I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. One ofthe reasons that I chose this hotel was because I liked the appearanceof the exterior photo. We didn't want the big American style of hoteland my daughters were not comfortable with a small b&B.
