I loved the location of this hotel, it was just off the top of themain street in Portlaoise. The Spa was lovely also, staff werefriendly and the treatments were fab. The bar staff Austin and Jason Ifeel should get a very special mention, thanks guys for a great laugh,it was a brilliant night, you guys are professional and very pleasant,thank you again.

The Hotel is so central to town ,and the music on Friday and Saturday night,All the staff in the hotel were all so nice .Will definely be back

Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast very nice. Italian in the hotel and hotel in general dealt very well for coeliacs with gluten free bread and pasts in the italian and gluten free bread at breakfast.

Rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast very nice. Italian in the hotel and hotel in general dealt very well for coeliacs with gluten free bread and pasts in the italian and gluten free bread at breakfast.

We were very impressed with the Killeshin hotel and we will mostdefinitely be staying there again. The staff were so friendly, welcomingand helpful. The rooms were excellent, spacious, comfortable and veryclean. The executive chair in the room was a nice touch to a stylishroom. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I would highly recommendthe killeshin hotel.

We had a fantastic weekend in the The Killeshin. The facilities werevery good. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the rooms were comfortable,bright & spacious. We used it as a base for shopping in Kildare Village(15 mins) & Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge (25 mins). There wasplenty of people around the hotel, which created a good atmosphere.Overall, a really enjoyable experience.

The hotel staff particularly at reception were excllent, they helped meabove and beyond the call of duty. I was staying in the hotel for theweekend because the Leinster Fleadh Cheoil was being held in the town. Ineeeded a lot of printing and copying done and the staff looked after itall so well. My daughter joined us on the Saturday and they changed ourroom immediatly. Excellent staff and so pleasant.

We had a fantastic weekend in the The Killeshin. The facilities werevery good. Kids really enjoyed the pool and the rooms were comfortable,bright & spacious. We used it as a base for shopping in Kildare Village(15 mins) & Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge (25 mins). There wasplenty of people around the hotel, which created a good atmosphere.Overall, a really enjoyable experience.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very accessible and convient for our trip next day to Kerry. Rooms were clean and met our needs very well.Hotel suitable for people who looking for a quite place to stay and like us to break up our trip.

The MALDRON was exellent value for money. With exellent facilities at no extra cost ie. pool , sauna , steam room, gym .Plenty of eating places and only 5mins drive into town.Staff were really friendly & helpfull at all times. Would recommend this hotel & would definately stay there in future visits to Ireland.

The hotel is very clean and modern-the staff cannot do enough for you and the the food in the Stir Restaurant was first class.I have to make a special mention for Trevor the chef, my daughter has a strict diet that she has to follow and Trevor went out of his way to cook her evening meal which she said was the best meal that she had eaten on our 8 day tour around Ireland, he also cooked her a breakfast observing the needs of her diet.We stayed in 7 hotels around Ireland and when booking all of them I requested certain ingredients to conform with my daughters diet and this was the only hotel to confirm my booking request when we arrived and had stocked the items that I had requested.
