The location was fantastic surrounded by nature, the staff were the bestwe ever came across, very helpful and friendly. Bar food excellent andvery comfortable and relaxing, breakfast was excellent with a greatchoice,Loved the traditional music on the Saturday night in the Bar. Thehotel itself is spacious, warm, and welcoming, clean and the decor wasvery well chosen, modern but classy. We would recommend this hotel toanyone, with or without children. Thank you.

The staff were generally very helpful. On the second day of our stay, wecomplained about the number of children unsupervised in the hotel andabout the noise of some on our corridor. We were given the option ofmoving to a suite in a quieter part of the hotel, which we gladlyavailed of, at no extra cost.

The hotel is located in a quiet rural area with a lot of wildlife visible. The golfing facilities are close but to not inpinge on the hotel experience. There are pleasant country walks in the vicinity ofthe hotel.

The hotel is wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help, the rooms are super clean with comfortable beds and very modern decor. Location is perfect. We took the AirLink 747 from Dublin Airport directly to the front door of the hotel. It was 10Euro RT. The stop was Cathal Brugha St/Upper O'Connell St. Even better was that the Dublin Tour Bus also picked up right outside the front door. Tons of shopping and places to eat are nearby and also some small grocery stores (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl), which was great for waters, snacks etc. For the little ones there's a McDonalds and Burger King right around the corner and a Papa Johns. It simply could not have been a better stay. I hope this review helps! I completely relied on these when booking our vacation so I really wanted to be just as helpful in my review...good luck!
Lisa  — 27.12.2011.
This hotel is located just off of O'Connell Street where there are many nice shops and dining. The city tour buses start and leave off right in front of the hotel. It is within walking distance to many tourist site and Trinity College. The hotel staff made every effort to make our stay comfortable. The rooms are clean but on the small side. It is what you would expect in any large Metropolitan city. You will not be in the room with so much to do in the city. The hotel maid service was great they left extra towels at our doors when we did not want service, it was a nice touch and much appreciated.
Sharon  — 13.11.2011.
I liked the friendliness of the staff, value for money on room price the location of the hotel, the rooms were very comfortable and quiet so no problem sleeping, also the rooms were spotlessly clean and it was extra nice to see the bathroom so clean as with a lot of hotels the bathroom tends to be a bit grubby which is a big let down so i can honestly say i would recomend your hotel to anyone, have just booked another stay for July so really looking forward to that.. I had checked the hotel reviews on trip advisor initially before booking and it had such a high % rate i knew i couldnt go wrong

Holiday Inn Express Dublin-Airport was a lovely short three night stay.I packed a lot in. Buying a three day freedom bus pass is very helpfulfor 26 euro. You save so much. For example you get to tour the hop onhop off bus for three days, free walking tour included, and use bus, airlink (airport bus) and train service in any direction. I stronglyrecommend buying a freedom pass upon arrival to Dublin. Holiday Inn Express Dublin-Airport hotel provided free coach to hotel, hotel to airport transportation and complimentary breakfast. Computer access is available in the waiting area for a small fee. Wish the minutes did not run out so fast though. Would be nice if that was also complimentary, but I know everything cannot be that way. Nice grounds area if you want to walk or run. Would be nice if they had indoor fitness facilities, incase of rain, but I got my exercise doing a lot of walking. Overall stay was 8.5 out of 10. Would stay there again in the future.
Kieran  — 27.12.2011.
We stayed at the hotel only because we were arriving home to Dublin on a late flight and had a 3hr drive ahead so decided to stay overnight near the airport. The hotel was only about 10-15 mins drive from the airport long term car park (blue). I had booked the hotel on the basic requirement of a bed for the night but was pleasantly surprised. The room was small but well laid out with couch, desk, tv etc. The rooms are modern and well equipped (love the bathroom and reading LED's) and even have a wireless keyboard (presumably for internet access via TV but I didn't use it.) As the hotel was good value and parking was only €6 for the night, I would consider staying here again for a functional reason.
Mark  — 12.12.2011.
My partner and I stayed at this hotel for one night on a stopover in Dublin. The hotel is clean, quite comfortable, and conveniently located near the airport. The beds were especially cosy and soft to sleep on. There is a city bus outside the hotel that takes you right into the heart of Dublin. It took us only about 20 minutes to get to the main Temple Bar area. The staff member at the hotel had a good deal of information to help us get into Dublin. The bus stops running quite early, though, so if you want to stay out late, you have to take a cab back to the hotel (approximately 20 Euros). Overall, though, we recommend this hotel highly!

On arrival the hotel had been subject to floods and the pool and gymwere closed. We were offered alternative accomodation for the night butalthough the hotel was more central it did not have the leisurefacilities we had booked the Maldron Hotel for so we decided to stay. The gym opened the next day but the pool not unitl the day before we were due to fly home. We still had time to use it though. The staff were excellent, especially when managing the water problem. The gym and pool staff were fanatastic and the bar staff very helpful when requesting a snack for our little girl. Our room was spacious and clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again. Slightly too far to walk for the ageing parents but ok for the younger age group.

A very old but well maintained and furnished hotel which for us offered excellent value compared to hotels in the area. The food and service were excellent. The lobby was always bustling with the activity of an upscale crowd. We moved here from another area hotel which could not accommodate an extended stay. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It is an easy walk to most of the Dublin's popular spots. We found the restaurant to be excellent. We would book here again.
Beverley  — 31.1.2012.
Very conveneint for wandering around Dublin. Central to all the sights. The bus from the airport stopped directly outside. Large foyer withcomfortable seating. Easy to arrange to meet friends. Drinks and foodreasonably priced adn therfore encouraged me to eat other meals at thehotel. I have stayed in other hotels and they only provided expensiverestaurants and therfore I dined elsewhere. Staff friendly and verywilling to oblige. I will stay here again on my next visit to Dublin

Trinity Capital is a boutique hotel with extremely polite and welltrained staff. We were upgraded to an executive suite on arrival freeof charge by the staff at check-in desk. The suite itself was verylarge with an office/working area attached to it. The bathroom wasvery modern and very clean as well as having some antique dressing andvanity furnishings in it. The bed was mahogany , was very comfortableand luxurious with the most ornate bedside lamps I have ever seen in ahotel. The room’s furnishings were again all beautiful antiques withteak and mahogany and paintings and artwork in abundance. Downstairsit is clear that the aim is to transport the guest to another time andplace. There is a Art Deco design style to the foyer and barfurnishing with sleek, streamlined choices in the place which conveyboth elegance and sophistication. The choice of artwork downstairsmixes middle-eastern and art-deco to the point of convincing the guestthat they have been transposed to a luxurious hotel s

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The decor was an eclectic mix ofAlice in Wonderland meets Morrocco! The staff were extrememly friendlyand very helpful when asked advice on places to visit, good restaurantsand good bars. The guest rooms are clean and well kept with lovelyluxurious bathrooms and include ironing facilities, tea and coffeemaking facilities, a fan (as the rooms do get quite hot and there is noac) and plenty of electrical sockets for appliances. The hotel providesa free wifi service which is useful when looking up some of the touristattractions. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a wide variety ofcontinental breakfast and cooked breakfast, self service buffet meansyou can have as much as you like so often you didn't need lunch when outand about exploring the city. The location of the hotel is perfect foranyone new to Dublin as you really are in the heart of everything andtherefore the city becomes easy to navigate round. The city shopping isround the corner, bus s

We really enjoyed our stay at the Trinity Capital Hotel. It isconveniently situated for sight-seeing and shopping. We had a courtyardroom which was very quiet. Rooms over the street or the Fire Station maybe less so. The room had no air-conditioning (not often needed inDublin) but central heating for the winter. The menu in the restaurantis not fancy but we ate well and the service was very friendly. We wouldreturn to the Trinity Capital and recommend it to our friends for goodlocation and value for money.

It was nice to stay in a small hotel. The staff was nice and friendly, some more service minded than others. The room was pleasant and quitesmall. Very nice with bubblebath and sauna. The location was good, notfar from the centre, in a quiet and nice neigborhood. We were notbothered by the traffic outside. Good breakfast. Not fancy, but wellprepared and some things to chose from. Great that we could bring thebreakfast to our room. Towels were shifted every day, it would have beengood with some cleaning during the stay, but still ok.
Anonymous  — 27.1.2012.
The location (in the south of Dublin, 20min walk to Crafton Street, 30min to Temple Bar) and the value for money were the 2 arguments to stay for 2 nights. We had a large room with Sauna and Jacuzzi, but did not have the time to use/check it. The breakfast was good (Irish and Continental) and included in the price. A big plus is definitely the free parking in the back of the hotel. Please check your Emails after booking as they send you a driving instruction as the Navi only leads you to the front door.
