Very friendly and helpful staff and a real credit to the hotel. The foodwas also very good indeed and one of the very few times I've ever had arare steak cooked properly. It's also a great location and withinwalking distance of the town.

We stayed as part of a wedding group and found the service excellent.We had a wonderful time and would reccommend this hotel as a brilliant wedding venue.

Handy for Monaghan Town and the pubs/nightlife there. Nice bar mealalthough a bit expensive. Good choice of beers, wines & spirits.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and made our short stay verypleasant. The food was great and the room (301) very spacious andcomfortable. Great to have the choice of bath or shower in the en suite.We had originally wanted to stay at Castle Leslie as we came for ariding weekend at their equestrian centre, but they were fully booked.We are both agreed that we were glad that this had been the case andthat we stayed at the hotel. We are planning another riding weekend inthe spring and will be booking to stay in the Westenra.

I love the central location of the hotel. The hotel parking is at therear and is very convenient and free! The Staff were probably, without doubt, some of the most friendly that I have ever encountered. With special thanks to 'Rosie' who helped my mother & myself with a room change that suited our needs better than the room that had been allocated to us. Thank you Rosie! We ate in the bar. The staff again were wonderful and the food was lovely.

The staff are so friendly and pleasant. They could not do enough forme.I Could not say anything to fault this hotel, top notch. Theymade what was a difficult situation (month's mind of my brother) somuch easier to bear. They asked how I was doing regularly and wereso kind to me.
