The staff and the service was impeccable, very friendly and polite. Theonly thing for us that let the hotel down was we stayed one night, butmanaged to get no sleep as the sound proofing is not great especiallyif there is a 2 man band playing downstairs with very loud amps!.Putting this aside and as it all stopped (and the musicans van loadedat 3pm!) I think we were unlucky. It was a shame as we were extremelyimpressed by everything before bedtime. If that is something you are okwith, then its great value for money and the people are very friendly.Sorry Rathbaun!
Cara  — 16.12.2011.
It is a family run hotel, staff are really friendly. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Hotel is in the middle of the town, and is the place to be as far as nightlife goes. Music plays from eight or nine in the evening, finishes about twelve, typical Irish music. Food was really good in the hotel, breakfast was freshly prepared and served until 12! And food served late in bar as well. I would recommend this hotel, it is clean, friendly and in the centre of it all.

Lovely owners. Extremely attentive and thoughtful - definitely ahighlight of our stay. Owner went above and beyond to find us dinnerfollowing a late arrival. Comfortable and clean at a fair price. Tea andcoffee in the room. Charming, old saloon style accommodations. Oh - andbreakfast was very nice; made to order and fresh with local items.Excellent location close to the the Cliffs of Moher. I don't think youcan beat this deal in the area.

It was our 1 year anniversary and we went to this hotel to relax and getaway from our routines. The Royal Spa hotel is a lovely hotel with nicefriendly staff and is situaited in a quiet location of Lisdoonvarna. They are very reasonably priced with their rooms and food. My wife and Ienjoyed it there and the scenery around the area is second to none. Ivelived in Northern Ireland all my life and I never new how beautiful ourcountry is and there are caves to go and see and the Burren is breathtaking. I would recommend the Royal Spa hotel to anyone and visitingthis area is a must in my opinion and I will be returning........

My family and I had a great time in the Royal spa hotel. It was close toall the places we were visiting for eg The Burren, surfing at Lehinch, and the beautiful coast of north and west Clare.Although the hotel atnight was quiet it suited us after a long day of touring andsurfing. There was lots of craic and music in all the other pubs andhotels a short walk from there. The staff were at all times friendly andprofessional. We will be back again.

The Hotel was fine for what we paid for it. But the village itself was very very quiet and we found that some of the Bars were so dirty we wondered how anyone could possibly eat food in them. Breakfast in Hotel was lovely. Room we found was very small and we shared a bathroom window with room next door. They had a young baby and it cried a lot during the night.

2 minutes from main street Lisdoonvarna. Parking was great, car wasvisible from our room. Breakfast was beautiful - we stayed in numerousB&B's during our break and the breakfast we had in Lisdoon lodge easilytopped the poll. Room was immaculate, facilities in the Lodge wereperfect and the staff were very helpful. Cliffs of Moher are 20 minutesor so drive from the Lodge and Bunratty Castle is approximately 1 hoursdrive also.
Gerald  — 31.12.2011.
Pretty much everything; Especially the friendliness and hospitality of owners Bernie and Ollie, After a night of "pubbing" we came back to the lodge to find them in their living room enjoying traditional Irish music with neighbors-they invited us to join them in the music and a couple of pints. And they made and served great breakfasts. The lodge rooms were lovely and clean.

We were very pleased with the guesthouse. It was in a good location for what we wanted to see and do. The breakfasts were excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The guesthouse was very quiet at night. The staff were very atttentive and looked after all our needs. We would certainly stay there again if in the vicinity.

The room was spacious and comfortable with extras such as electric blankets and in-room coffee and tea. The breakfast was individually prepared and ample, with choices. Reception was friendly and the location is convenient to local attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, and Kilfenora. The B&B is quite near Lisdoonvarna and on the main road without being in the middle of town.

Denis, the owner, is great. We arrived on bike and Denis offered to drive us into town. The distance into town is walkable but we had mentioned how tired our legs were. Denis also picked us up after dinner to drive us back to the inn and on the way home gave us a quick tour of town. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and much larger than many B&B's.

Hotel was very quaint. Room was exceedingly nice. Opened onto a lovely garden. Great breakfast. I'm told that their bar/restaurant is also very good but it happened to be closed the night we stayed.
