Fabulous food and a very relaxing place. The lunch is available up to 6pm and is very good value. The service is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. The accomodation is a decent 3 star and certainly enhanced by the good restaurant and pub onsite. The location is ideal for exploring all that North Clare has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.

Vaughans Anchor Inn was one of the nicest places that we have stayed inIreland. The rooms appeared to have been recently renovated. We weregiven a welcome basket on arrival with tea, coffee, bottles of wateretc. The quality and presentation of the breakfast was better than anyhotel with great attention to detail. The standard of service and foodwas excellent. I would definitely go back and stay there again. Greatlocation for touring around Clare.

Breakfast was very good well served with pleasant staff. The. main evening meals are very expensive for a fairly ordinary pub style Inn. They were excellent in their prepartion of the meal, but with little other choice localy you were in a catch 22 situation.If you could not afford their prices. We would not go backa gain as cost for value was poor. Room facilities were very clean but basic i,.e.no draw space for clothes, limited hanging space for two people, no active tea facities, i.e milk sour one day one and for two days no milk at all. No coat hooks for hanging outdoor coats generaly the room lacked basic extra's.
