The staff were particulaly helpful and friendly - and saved my travel plans when I left documents behind and which they put on a bus for Dublin for me. It is near the National Stud, which is why I visited Kildare and also the Church and Well of St. Bridget. The restaurant food was excellent and very good value. The room, with ensuite, was also very good value for money

The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was warm and cosy. Lots ofhot water for showering. The staff and the breakfasts were so so good, the highest standards, I have experienced and it is a real credit to thehotel. The bar was lovely, a lovely place to have a meal, a drink, meetwith friends etc. I am hoping to return to the area next year and willdefinately stay here again.

We had our dinner in the bar at the Silken Thomas with a few drinks, it was quiet at first but it filled up as the afternoon went on, our event was in the Curragh so we got a taxi which is just across the road, very reasonable, they also came back for us later which was great. The location was perfect as we were just minutes from Kildare Village to get in some shopping and much needed Starbucks coffee before hitting the road home again. The room was spacious, very clean, with plenty of towels and essentials, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay ;-)
