We booked this hotel from the internet as none of the other hotels in the area were available for the dates we required. We had no previous knowledge of the town or the hotel so it was with some trepidation we booked. I cannot describe our pleasure when we arrived and saw, firstly, the location of Waterfront House and then the really lovely rooms that had been assigned to us. The service was first class and the manager could not do enough to facilitate us.The view must be the best in Enniscrone with the beach literally just across the road, the seaweed baths next door and the cliff walk within minutes of the hotel. There was a really nice wine bar and restaurant attached to the hotel and we enjoyed great breakfasts and excellent dinners there. The atmosphere in the lobby was warm and relaxed, the break was great value for money and we will certainly be returning.

The genuine welcome on check-in was a good start - with a lot of baggageon the day, the unexpected elevator was a boon as was the rear-entranceto the private car-park set above and behind the building. Seaview roomsare panoramic, encompassing the entire sweep of the bay and mountainsbeyond - very romantic ; for sea-lovers, the sound of waves breaking iscontinuous but effective double-glazed windows shut out most noises, including those of occasionally-passing traffic on the road immediatelybelow the front-rooms.Access to Enniscrone beach is literally a fewmetres from the entrance-door and a wide-range of outdoor and sea-borneactivities are available . All in all,a good choice to counterpoint thetwo or three larger and busier hotels to be found on the main-street ofthe town. Ask for room 203 at Waterfront House if you wish to have thebest-possible view of the attractive beach-vista below.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful!!! Small, spotlessly clean, intimate atmosphere, with huge rooms, ours was overlooking the Atlantic ocean with wonderful spectacular views!!! The sunsets were unbelievable, and were visible from the cosy bar/restaurant at the front of the hotel . The restaurant food was excellent quality and good value for money, and I really liked the fact that both the bar menu and the a la carte were available till 10pm. My 85yr old Mom was with me and we were delighted to find that the hotel catered for those with walking difficulties and had a lift, plus ramps leading up to the door. Another plus was the fact that breakfast was available till 11am from 8am so if you need an extra hour in bed it's no problem. The staff were friendly and helpful and saw to our every need, offering to turn on the heat in our room to ensure my mother's comfort. Although the hotel is "in the heart" of the town it is really quiet and tranquil as its situated on the cliff road which is
