The room was definitely the best part. It was really lovely in the room, well designed and large. It had a full flat screen TV which is oddly a luxury when you're used to small dinky TVs in hotel rooms. The covers on the bed were well done and not the scratchy, itch-tensive sort which is bog standard in hotels these days, including the so called boutique hotels. The bathroom was amazing really, with angled walls, hidden entrance and full stand in shower, large by any standard (and a window into the bathroom area from the bedroom, over to the side, and hidden enough to scare the crap out of your loved one when they are not expecting it). The staff was friendly as well. There is a luas stop just in front, literally, right in front of the hotel and right across from the O2 arena. Even with a concert going on that night, we did not hear a thing. Overall, the best hotel we have stayed in while in Dublin for the weekend stays.

The hotel has a modern, clean look. The room was lovely, and the bed wasvery comfortable. The staff was very courteous and answered allquestions with a smile. The hotel is a good distance from the citycentre, but there is a Dart station right across the street. There isalso a bus stop that makes travel to and from the airport quite easy. Ithink you would have a hard time finding another hotel of this qualitycloser the city centre that could match the Gibson's rates. Bottomline...if you don't mind taking a tram/bus/taxi to get you a littlecloser to the city's main attractions, the Gibson is probably the bestvalue for your money while in Dublin. It should also be noted that theo2 is across the street, making the Gibson the place to stay if you'revisiting for a concert there. Cheers!

The hotel is right next next to the final stop on the tram system allowing easy access to Dublin city centre. The staff I found were extremely pleasant and accommodating providing free access to wifi, storing our bags till late at night after check out and offering to call us taxi to the airport. Simple things however lost generally in this modern age. We did receive a discount through booking through so review is also based on what we actually paid. Finally room was spotless and with such a new hotel all areas were fresh looking and vibrant. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay again
