This hotel is ideal for anyone looking to sample Dublin?s finest hospitality. Situated on Harcourt Street, this charming hotel is a brief stroll from Stephen's Green and Grafton Street in the centre of Dublin. The beauty of central Dublin - it can all be explored on foot! The hotel has an art deco style restaurant for more formal dining, whilst a carvery lunch is served in the bar.

We wanted a hotel close to Grafton Street and not too pricey for a weekend away in September 2011. Like most city breaks, we don't plan to spend too much time in the hotel, so the decor and service isn't always the most important part of picking a hotel. Upon stumbling across Russell Court Hotel on TripAdvisor, I could see from the reviews that the nightclub/bars attached were a big problem for causing noise and disrupting sleep. The price for the weekend was one of the lowest (and it was one of the closest hotels to the city centre) so I booked for a three night stay (Friday night to Monday morning).I really enjoyed my stay in Dublin as a city, and also Russell Court Hotel itself, however I couldn't rate any higher without providing false hope to other potential visitors to the hotel. The rooms themselves are very antique (although spacious) with lots of old furniture and bric and brac that could do with updating (and polishing!). The bed was very comfortable, and we always returned

the location was ideal for what we wanted and the price was reasonable. The hotel was quirky in that it was old fashioned mixed with very modern...a nice twist. The hotel receptionists were lovely and accommodated us arriving early to check in, they were helpful in keeping us informed of when our rooms were ready. The hotel info regarding noise etc is completly accurate and i liked the fact that the literature happily declared that rooms would be affected throughout due to high numbers of people at the location...many hotels would omit this from their webpage and it may then ruin a persons stay , wheras my party was more than prepared for noise levels.

We spent the weekend in Dublin for our wedding anniversray and choosethe Russell Court for the location to bars pubs etc. The room was faband extremely comfortable. There has been reviews that the nightclubattached to the hotel was noisey but this didn't affect us. Thebreakfast was included in the price and was very good. The staff werepolite and very helpful. I would highly reccommend this hotel to acouple who are enjoyin Dublin and the bars. Prob not best for familiesand the elderly but from our point it was a fantasic weekend and weshall be returning. Thank you Russell Court Hotel for a fab 1st weddinganniversary!!!!!
