I have to say was leaving the hotel in the morning. This hotel isridiculous, and is easily the worse I’ve ever stayed in. I did not getany sleep in this hotel. Really not even one minute. It’s not like I’m alight sleeper I had even had a couple of drinks that night. Constantnoise out in the corridors going in and out rooms doors slamming, andtry not be near the lift or you really will know what floor you arestaying on by the end of the night “floor 2 going up” “floor 2 goingdown” ding!! There was snow out but our room was that hot I was sleepingwith no covers on and only boxers and was still sweating. Then earlymorning about 8 the people next door began to have a shower and thenoise in our room was unreal from the hot water tank I can only guess.Never heard such load noise coming from a hotel wall before. Also agreewith below of very poor lighting in the rooms but that didn’t bother metoo much. Also was told that car parking cost 9euro for hotel rate foryou nights stay. I was not told

Our stay was fantastic, despite the flooding! The hotel staff were sohelpful, especially with suggesting things to do as the weather was soawful! The Red and Green Tour buses are at th end of the road, so easyaccess to all tourist areas, Temple Bar is just around the corner andO'connell street is over the bridge. The room was upgraded for us freeof charge for our Honeymoon. The reception staff were so friendly andpolite, printing off our boarding passes and organising taxis. The hotelwas so clean and comfortable. I had read a few mixed reviews about noisefrom the club below, but we did not hear a thing, just the usual citynoises! We are going to use this hotel again when we go back to Dublin, the hotel staff could have done no more for us, we had an amazing 5days, we could not praise the staff or hotel more!!

The design of the hotel and the room furniture were very quaint and1930's inspired. The facilities were good including the extras such asthe heated towel rack and the trouser press (I don't think many hotelshave this). The room was a good size and the staff were polite andcourteous. The hotel is located in a central area near the city centreand right across Parliament House and Dublin Castle and easilyaccessible by bus. There are many restaurants and food places locatedaround the hotel which was very convenient.
