Lovely welcome, room all prepared and very clean and spacious. Was upgraded to Premiere Suite at no extra cost, without request. Temperature just right, no silly air conditioning but effective room warming and cooling available if required, controlled only by guests. Food in restaurant was lovely and great service. Only issue was that we were never asked if we wanted a drink with our meals, which seemed odd. We had to call the waiter/waitress over specifically to ask for a drink after the starter course was served. Breakfast was lovely, self-serve and serving times were more than reasonable. Lack of ability to control extremely rowdy and unpleasantly disruptive crowd in pub area of hotel on football night but on other nights very pleasant. Nice to have a resident's lounge with a late bar and vending machines after hours. Even though in the centre of Dublin, hotel was pretty quiet, even with the window open.

As a businessman travelling from uk I've stayed many times at the NorthStar + It's now my hotel of preference in Dublin. Location opp ConnolyStation is v convenient but not the nicest part of town - however thereare always taxis right outside on sation rank which is v convenient. Ialways book 1 of the club rooms which are fantastic value - half theprice of a similar room on St Stevens Green. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable + with balcony; staff are v attentive + accomadating + totop it all there's a shuttle to the airport. Conclusion: apart from notbeing in nicest part of town (although v convenient for Station) it'sthe best value 4 money in Dublin.

On arrival the staff were very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Thehotel itself was of high standards and the interior design wasbeautiful. We had a peaceful stay at the hotel and I would recommendthis to friends who have young families. In Dublin I find at the weekendespecially a lot of people go to enjoy the weekend and can get rowdy andnoisy but with the hotel being a short walk from O'Connell street andTemple bar this will deter noisy residents! I think the hotel is wellsituated in Dublin. Near bus and tram stations. Local restaurants andpubs nearby. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will probably return.
