Excellent staff, very attentive and helpful, always friendly andcourteous. The facilities were very comfortable and we particularlyenjoyed the Artists Tea - a brilliant idea. We had to move rooms afterthe first night because of street noise with bin collections etc butthis was done very smoothly indeed and was a credit to staff onreception. The pool facilities were very good and the guest room wascomfortable with an excellent size bathroom. We stay at high qualityhotels worldwide, such as Raffles, George Cinq, e&o Penang, thePeninsular and we can say that the Merrion will join those ranks as ourpreferred hotel for Dublin

The hotel interior is of a very high standard. The drawing rooms withthe open fires are very attractive and comfortable, and the rooms arelarge and very well presented. The Hotel staff are extremely friendlyand will go out of their way to help you. It is located in a very goodlocation which is away from the main noisy streets, but is within a 5-10minute walk of all of the centre bars and restaurants. The hotel pool isalso very nice.

our stay at the merrion was excellent the staff were helpful the service very good location was good room was spacious and clean there was only one downside we were only there for one night . the best thing to say about the hotel is if i had to go to dublin again and this hotel was booked up i would not go.
