My friends and I were traveling to dublin to attend two concerts and weneeded somewhere central. We booked the Kildare Street Hotel as a resultof this. One concert was in the o2 and the other was in the Aviva. As wewere not originally friom dublin we hadn't a clue where to stay so wetook the chance of booking a quadrouple room in The Kildare StreetHotel. It was the best weekend we had ever experienced and we had neverstayed in a room that was so spacious for four people. Privacy was alsoa large aspect of the room. We were not all bunked in together, we hadthe world of space. It was an enjoyable weekend and The Kildare StreetHotel is just a 3min walk from Grafton street and a 10min walk fromO'Connel Street. It was just what we needed. We agreed that we wouldstay here again.

This was my second stay in the Kildare Street Hotel. If you want a city centre location, this is hard to beat. 2 minutes walk from Grafton Street and Stephen's Green. I booked a single room and the room was large, with a single and double bed, TV and ensuite. Bed linen spotless and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. If your stay in Dublin means you are likely to be out all day and most of the evening, you won't be spending a lot of time in your hotel room, so the fact that the rooms may be showing signs of wear and tear won't matter and this hotel's location would be hard to beat. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food available in the bar of the hotel. For breakfast, I recommend Kilkenny Design, which is only 2 doors away!

I liked that the motel was centrally located. On the same street as thegovernment buildings which included being near the library and thenational museum of Dublin, which were on the same street as the hotel. And directly across the street was Trinity College, which is where theBook of Kells is located and it is thousands of years old. Location wasfantastic. Hotel was a little weathered and not all rooms had privatebathrooms. Staff was exceptionally helpful.
