The hotel was in a good position to explore Dublin. The tour bus stopped at the side of the hotel so was ideal for gaining an overview of the city and getting to places of interest. It was a few minutes walk to Dublin Castle and City Hall, and only a little further to Temple Bar, with Christ Church Cathedral and Dublina on the doorstep. The room was spacious and clean with an excellent shower. Although close to the road, we overlooked the gardens and the room was quiet, as requested. The staff were really helpful .They provided maps and advice of how to get to various places, ordered a taxi and were always pleasant. Breakfast was ample and we enjoyed a freshly prepared bar lunch. The hotel was good value for money and we would be delighted to stay there again..

This hotel is perfectly located for a city break in Dublin, it is close to Temple Bar, the Guinness storehouse, Dublin Castle and O'Connell st! I stayed here with 4 girls to celebrate my 21st birthday, we we're close enough to Temple Bar to stagger home after a night out! The hotel is basic - could be compared to a Travelodge - but perfect for a clean, comfortable base for exploring the city. Only downside was the staff in the bar - service was slow and they could speak little english!
