I checked in at 9pm, to a not so pleasant receptionest, a smile costsnothing, I gave to hwer my visa debit card for payment in advance, thereceptionest requested my credit card which I do not have, I then had togo to a cash dispensing machine to get €100 deposit cash to give them orI would not be accepted to stay. The machine wasnt in service so Iproceeded further along the street and bought a pittza in order to getcash back. It was 10pm when I finally got back to the hotel.I Had bookeda quiet room but the furnace was located outside the bedroom window andwas noisy, I contacted reception and was told the hotel was full. Resulta sleepless night..

The Herbert Park is just perfect. Beautiful location right beside a parkbut also near excellent public transport links and with car parking on-site too. Rooms are very comfortable; staff helpful and friendly - eventhe reception area is so comfortable, spacious and filled with lightthat it's a pleasure just to sit there and read. And last but not least, the food's great too! As you can tell, the Herbert Park is my favouriteDublin hotel.
