Though not much to look at from the outside, I was pleasantly surprised with the comfortable and clean room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was missing a hairdryer but we were brought one immediately we asked for one. The hotel is in an ideal location for shopping, sightseeing and for getting to The O2 arena if you are going to a concert there. The hotel staff looked after our bags in a safe location before and after check-in/out times. There was an abundance of eating places nearby. I would not go here for a luxury break but would use again for value for money.

I always stay in the Dublin City Inn when I go to Dublin - its locationis absolutely perfect - 5 mins walk to the Luas, 5 mins walk toO'Connell St, 2 mins walk to a taxi rank - surrounded by shops, cafesetc. It's great value for money, the staff are lovely, the breakfast istasty & plentiful. While the hotel isn't the fanciest or the mostglamorous I've ever stayed in it's clean, cosy and very comfortable.I've recommended it to my friends as the perfect hotel.

Another excellent stay at the Dublin City Inn. Can't say enough about this hotel.. The staff are super friendly. Thanks to Viorica for sorting us with our favourite room. The price is brillaint if you're on a budget. The location could not be better, 2 minutes from O Connell St. There are lots of retaurants and shops on your doorstep. We are in Dublin quite often and this has become our regular hotel to stay in.
