Absolutely loved this hotel! An eclectic mix of comfy sofas andchandeliers with sparkly floors thrown in for good measure.Spacious, luxurious room, with bath and shower.Spotlessly clean.Decent size tvwith good channels. For a big hotel, it was very quiet and the bed was socomfy I did not want to get up.Fantastic delicious buffet breakfast witha vast selection of fresh foods, which set you up for the day.Had thebest fish and chips in the bar at night .Location is perfect, as closeto buses, trams ( runs right by the hotel) and the tourist 'hop on, hopoff' bus stops 100 yards from hotel.Very safe area, much better thanbeing right in the centre as far quieter at night and no 'big deal' toget to the centre by public transport. The bar was 'buzzy' and locallythere was a lovely Irish corner pub and other restaurants, but hotel foodis very good value and we ate there on 2 nights. This is definitelymy'Dublin' hotel and I will return as excellent value for money.

Both myself and my husband enjoyed our recent stay in the Ashling HotelDublin. It was very relaxing, the food was good and varied, whether inthe restaurant or bar, the breakfast excellent. The room and bedscomfortable and clean. The location for us was ideal being quite closeto Hueston Station as we had relatives to visit out of town. The busesand the Luas were also very handy. The staff manning the reception deskwere polite and helpful, particularly one young girl, who at our requestfor the whereabouts of a florist in the vicinity, suggested Kate's inStoneybatter. The bouquet was exceptional. The recipient, my husband'ssister was very pleased. The occasion was her 80th birthday. Herbirthday dinner was also catered for by the staff of the Ashling Hoteland was enjoyed by all. Thank you very much. Jacky .

very nice hotel. dublin is very small so we didn't even need a bus. you can visit the city by foot starting from the hotel. there's a small spar supermarket very close to have cheap breakfast(cheaper than in the hotel). there's a tram station directly in front of the hotel door and 2min away you can reach Heuston busstation by foot. if you come from dublin airport take the Bus 747 (6eur p.person) to Heuston (40min). during the night it's very loud outside (probably cause you can hear the trucks from the guinness factory which is not far away) - but as we now know, it's not quieter anywhere else in dublin :). generally i can say the hotel is nice for a citytrip to dublin (for those who haven't been there, 2 days are enough if you just walk through the city).
