The 24hr staff at the Anchor House were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We had a quiet triple room which was spacious enough and the ensuite bathroom was quite convenient. Only one of our party had breakfast one morning and although it seems a bit pricey at 8E, it was very good and made to order as a full breakfast. We brought a bottle of wine back to the room one night and the hotel found us 3 wine glasses. The location is 10 min walk into town and the #41 bus stops in front on which one can go to/from the airport for 2.30E each way. Very convenient. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to our friends.

The hotel is excellent; it is very central, just a crossing of the road from the Busaras Bus Central Station. It is quiet,. the rooms are ample, clean and with a bathroom inside; the same hotel in London would cost you the double. The breakfast is also excellent with a cosy room with a fire next to it. There is also a nice guestroom where you can read or write. The hotel's staff is also nice and helpful. In fact, I stayed at the hotel for 5 days from 6 to 11 March; I had also a reservation for 20-24 April which I cancelled. I have already recommended it to a family whom is travelling to Ireland in June.
