We only spent one night in this hotel but enjoyed it very much. We askedfor a quiet room which we got. The hotel is a short drive from the citycentre and is ideal if you want a quiet stay with not a hen or stagparty in sight! We spent the evening in the hotel bar which has a lovelyatmosphere and friendly staff. The bar seems to be used by locals aswell as guests which created a nice atmosphere. The bar food wasexcellent. The reception staff we met were very welcoming and helpful. Our room, 133 was very comfortable and clean. After spending our secondnight in a soulless city centre hotel, I would definitely return toMenlo Park and hire a taxi to the city centre on my next visit.

Westwood hotel is a real treat. It is clean, cheap, cheerful and verycomfortable. The decoration is very nice, bar interesting and staff veryfriendly and helpful. The food is excellent, breakfast is huge and tastyand the evening dinner in the restaurant was spectacular. It isdefinitely a hotel I would return to. Taxis are available to go to thecity centre if one does not fancy the walk to the city.

The food in the restaurant was excellent both the breakfast and the dinner. It was very convenient for the Student Accommodation at Corrib Village where our son is staying. It meant that he could join us for dinner and walk back to the accommodation afterwards. It is also nice and convenient for the shopping centre but it feels as if it well out of the city.

The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel isreally colourful and bold on the design side - even the bathrooms havecoloured and patterned tiles whihc makes a welcome change from the seaof beige, cream, muted tones and wine shades that seem to proliferatethe hotel world. The bed was really comfy and the sheets and towels weregreat. The location was perfect, central but around a corner or two fromthe noise at night.

staff excellent, breakfasts very good, free internet very helpful (you need a cable, they have them at reception), location fantastic for being in the heart of galway. Hotel is funky, stylish and friendly. I had three days there for a Galway getaway and it fitted the bill perfectly - enjoyed it a lot.
