I loved the location,the hotel was lovely and the views whereexcellent.everyone we spoke to at the hotel were so friendly,jessica thereceptionist was so friendly and couldnt do enough for us.i willrecommend this hotel to all my friends and people in general.we hadnight life and resturants right on our doorstep,plus the weather was onour side we will be back and thanks again for an enjoyable stay also thefood was execellent nearly forgot to mention that. The room was as clean as can be expected for an old building. We werehappy that we got the victorian part of the hotel as it was cozy andvery warm at night (homely). The hotel is right on the seafront, so ifyou have small kids it is ideal. After the first night we actually gotused to the sound of the train and slept soundly, the kids were actuallyexcited about hearing the train.We would probably stay there again, thekids relaxed after the first night. Plenty of hot water too.

We have stayed at the esplanade on several occasions both with childrenand adults. I think that this hotel is one of the best we have everstayed in . between the house staff which very rarely get a mention inany hotel ,very efficient .reception staff very good, any thing youwanted they went out of their way to look after you . the bar staff evenif they were very busy made you feel at home . and very friendly .alanand anthony which we met on our last visit were top notch.nothing wastoo much will be going back very soon thanks to the staff

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The reception area is lovely andusually has a big fire lighting. the bedrooms are large and the beds are so so comfortable. bathrooms are lovely and of course there is tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. breakfast is really good and the lady who serves it is absolutly lovely. \the hotel is central to dublin city, and the walk along the cliff from bray to greystones is a must for anyone staying there. if you dont like noise ask for a room to the back. we love the royal hotel and have returned there so many times and we always find it lovely. would recommend this hotel

What i enjoy most about the Royal Hotel, Bray is that it has an excellent Pool and Jacuzzi, the jacuzzi is very relaxing, especially after a long day's shopping. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere, suitable for all ages and is only a few minutes walk from the sea and promenade. I have stayed in the Royal Hotel on at least four occasions in the last few years and have enjoyed it on each occasion. I have brought family members and friends to stay there also, all of whom enjoyed it and have already returned or will return to stay there in the future. The staff are very professional and friendly and the food is excellent. I would highly reccoment this hotel to everyone.

First experience was disappointing. A leaking radiator soaked a portionof the room's carpeting. We were offered the option of moving to twosmaller rooms, as no room was available to accomodate three guests atthe time. We declined to move, waiting until the next day to be moved toa large enough (triple) room. We waited throughout the day, until after5:00pm before the staff relocated us to that room. The delay was due tothe need to clean the new room -- a delay that was never explained orjustified. That room was lovely - but it overlooked two busy roadwayswith a good deal of late night pedestrian (bar) traffic. A second stayat the hotel, a week later, was fine. All in all, this is an acceptablehotel, priced reasonably, all things considered. But it is neither royalnor luxurious.

Good location along the Bray coastline. We stayed in an apartment styleroom which we didn't expect which was a bonus. This had separate livingroom/kitchen to the bedroom which was very well fitted. The staff at thereception desk, bar and hotel restaurant were very friendly and helpfulwhich gave an overall nice atmosphere in the hotel.

We stayed at the Martello while attending the IL Divo concert in Kilruddery. We do not have one negative comment about our experience. It reminded us of a hotel in holiday resorts in Europe-the friendliness and helpfullness of the staff was incredible.Their food is some of the best we have ever eaten and excellent value for money. After the concert we came back to a packed hotel with a fantastic band playing and food being served until 2 am.Everyone was in great form and the natives were very friendly towards us. Breakfast next day was fab with seven choices. It was a great experience. We would definitely stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it

Location ideal in between Baggot Street pubs and Lansdowne Road for the rugby match that we came to Dublin for. Friendly staff. Otherwise just a functional B+B with tired bathrooms. At 150 euros a night, fairly steep, but not out of step with other Dublin prices for this premium weekend.

Centrally located yet not in too noisy or scary part of town. Breakfastsare good- we could either choose a traditional Irish breakfast orcontinental which was better than what you would expect for the latter.Pleasant and accommodating. The shower had great water pressure and gotreally hot. Better than other hotels/B&Bs we've tried lately.

The hotel is situated really not far from the centre - it took us 10-15minutes to walk to Trinity colledge. Tasty breakfast - but may bethat's normal for Ireland - we had breakfast in 5 different places &all were perfect. Very friendly & polite staff - they didn't desagreewhen we decided to move to another hotel after the first night & evengave us a discount.

The room was very quiet although we were in the city. The front deskstaff was most helpful with recomendations for dinner , trave in andoutof the city and friendliness. We were made to feel very special evenas ordinary holiday travelers not as regular business persons might feelas repeated guests. It was a pleasurable 4 days in Dublin.

I stayed at the Dylan with my sister last weekend and from start to finish our experience was exemplary. The hostess discovered it was my birthday and presented us with complimentary cocktails. We stayed in a beautiful room and the service we received from all the staff at the hotel was phenomenal. The hotel itself is luxurious in every aspect and we cannot wait to return again soon.

The room itself. It's a well thought out hotel. Comfort is paramount andmy room was very elegant. The hotel is clearly designed for those whoappreciate interesting design. Attention to detail is evidenteverywhere. The ladies toilets downstairs are worth a visit. The lightfitments and effects throughout are superb. It's a wonderful weekendaway hotel. It's quiet, central and boutique in style. Would highlyrecommend it if they resolve the gouging tendency that's evident at theedges......perhaps it's due to the crisis - but it's off putting.

This apartment was lovely. It was definitely like a home from home. Really comfortable furniture and had everything you needed. It was like a 4 star hotel room in the form of an apartment. It was a reasonable price and would recommend it to anyone. I stayed with a group of friends but would be suitable for a family also.

This Apartment is amazing. It was the size of a house. In a great location next to the lightrail. Very secure building. When I arrived there was an unoccupied apartment next door that had a smoke detector beeping. I called Your Home From Home even thought they had no way to get access to the apartment they tracked down the owner and got the beeping to stop.

Excellent location, really nice accomodation, spacious, great value for money. We booked a 2 bed apartment and we were upgraded to a 3 bed detached house within the complex. Very clean, a lovely property. The checking in process was excellent too, as it always is! We use 'Home from Home' a lot and always receive top service and accomodation, we will continue to use them in the future too.
