Ashlee Lodge is a small boutique hotel, owned and personally managed to guarantee you the best international standards of accommodation together with a traditional warm Irish welcome. Set within its own grounds just outside the mystical village of Blarney, home to the world famous Blarney Castle and Blarney Stone, Ashlee Lodge is just a 10 minute drive to Cork City Centre, the Southern Capital of Ireland. Set in a golfers paradise the hotel is within easy reach of numerous championship golf courses including Fota, Muskerry, Lee Valley, Cork Golf Club, Harbour Point, Old Head of Kinsale and Blarney Golf resort. Ashlee Lodge is located in the village of Tower, 2 km outside Blarney, situated on the main Blarney Killarney Road (R617). It is also within easy access to Blarney Village, home to Blarney Castle with its famous blarney stone, and Blarney Woollen Mills, which radiate from the hub of the old village square.

The Ashee Lodge was first class accommodation at a very reasonableprice. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in at anyhotel and the service was excellent. This will be the benchmark for anyfuture accommodation we use in Ireland-A+

We stayed at Ashlee Lodge for just a single night and our only regretwas that our stay was not longer. This small Hotel/guest house is trulymagnificent and I have no hesitation in recommending it on all counts -comfort, cuisine and excellent service. The owner was brilliant andanticipated our every need. Well done!! Do stay here if visiting, notjust Blarney, but Cork City - which is just a few Km away.

A stunning house surrounded by beautiful trees in a great location 5minutes from Blarney Village. Ideal base for visiting Cork City and WestCork. The owners give great advise on the places to see and visit andgive great directions too. Exceptional rooms with the best breakfasts.Try the pancakes with crispy bacon and the home baked breads are to diefor! If you are tired of souless corporate hotels that all look the samethen this place is for you.

Everything about the hotel was superb. The breakfast and restaraunt service was good although a little on the expensive side but hey, we were on holiday. We had a little problem!! with the housekeeping - waste not emptied and hospitality trays not replenished but this was soon sorted. The housekeeping staff told me that they were short staffed and had cuts in the provisions budget. On the final day Marion - reception Manager asked about our stay and I told her about this and she was more than helpful, apologetic and reduced the bill. The hotel world needs more Marions. We will return soon and recommend the hotel to others.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the decor could do with updating the cleaniness more then made up for a bit of chipped paint. The restaurant served good quality food and always with a smile! The location was very good and the cleaniness in the hotel was echoed in Blarney village. I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a good value break in Cork (only 10 minutes from Cork City). I hope to return for a second visit.

Reviews were nt great so I was surprised to find a lovely room.comfybed. The ceilings need a bit of attention but other that that the roomwas perfect. We had lovely scones with jam and cream and two teas in therestaurant. 5Euro for two people which is great value. These was a setdinner menu for 19 euro and a family Sunday dinner deal for 29 euro.More hotels could take a leaf out of The Blarney Wollen Mills book. TheBlarney Wollen Mills shop is lovely. Georgous delph, linen and Meadows &Byrnes are there for lovely household stuff. I could spend hours there. Was quiet at night. We did nt go down the village where there wouldprobably be music. Everythng very close. Beautiful Church just behindthe hotel. Did the castle before. Did nt go this time.About 10 mins toCork city by car.

It's almost uncomprehensible how they manage to offer such a great roomand breakfast for that price! Furthermore, Anne makes you feel verywelcome and is always at your service if necessary. The location of thisbed and breakfast is also great: although one can enjoy the peace andquiet of the countryside (the magnificent Blarney Castle is nearby, anabsolute must-see), Cork city is only a 10-15 minute drive away...
Sarah  — 21.12.2011
There was absolutely nothing that you could fault Anne and Chris on in hosting me and my 5 friends. The rooms were high quality, cosy and clean. Anne and Chris were friendly, incredibly obliging (nothing was too much trouble) and served a cracking cooked breakfast! The location was in easy reach of the local village and taxis into Cork City were not too pricey. A fantastic 4 star stay for a reasonable cost and I would recommend to anyone!

What a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable! Location close to Blarney Castle. Only about a 15 minute walk to downtown. A bit longer on the way back as located on a hill, but the scenery and the houses are well worth the walk. The hospitality was great and they loved taking the time to talk with us. We wish we could stay longer. I would definitely recommend a few nights minimum. Breakfast service was terrific. The town itself was also great. Had the Woolen Mills to get all your authentic Irish souvenirs from at reasonable prices. Waterford crystal, Damask Irish Linen, Merino Wool sweaters and much more. Local pubs very traditional! Would definitely come back here!
