Besides the incredible scenery there are great quiet cycling routes; water sports; diving and fishing; Skellig Rock Trips, horse riding; a wide variety of archaeological sites and Heritage Centres including Cill Rialaig Famine Village; Cill Rialaig Gallery and Cafe; and Ballinskelligs friendly village with quality music, food and pubs just a short stroll away. 4km outside of Caherciveen on the Waterville road, take 2nd right hand turn at signpost to Ballinskelligs (Baile na Sceilge) village.

The hostel has a big kitchen, an eating room and a sitting room withmany comfortable couches. Everything was very clean and nice. The woodenfloor and matching furniture create a nice environment.

The hostel is extremely clean and great value for money!! Staff werevery helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend this hostel foranyone who wants a nice quite holiday or somewhere to stay if they arevisiting the Skelligs.

The facilities were more than you would expect for an average hostel.Spacious, comfortable bedroom, good cooking/eating facilities, excellenttoilet/bathroom facilities all of which were clean. Beach is withinwalking distance as is pub and some eating places. Shop is further awaybut this is a place you go to to be in the country. Trip to Skellig rockthe highlight. Countryside and mountains were easily accessible buthaving your own transport is a big bonus. Excellent value for a familystay and a nice relaxed way to meet with other people.

The staff and service was excelent. However it is not a hotel. It is aHostel/B&B. It is however an excelent place to stay and we wereextreemly happy all round for the price we paid. Keep up the good workguys. See ye again soon :-)

Member of family was very obliging and willing to please his/her guests.Food was good and service was excellent. Very relaxed place,unfortunately the night we stayed there was no music, but seeminglythere is music on friday and saturday night. View from hotelbreathtaking. Would certainly go back again.

Excellent family history with the pub and area. Been in the same familyfor almost 100 yrs! Very warm welcome, and super friendly folks.Legitimate local pub with interesting locals to chat with. Good pub foodalthough only available Thursday thru Sunday, but proximity of Glenbeighhelps in this regard. We stayed in the lovely néw apartment 2 bedroomskitchen ensuite fir €100/ night ( family of 4). You kind of need a carto fully enjoy this spot.
