The room was spacious, the shower excellent and the bed was verycomfortable. The facilities were extensive, that is, the huge bar/pub, avery impressive formal dining room (although we did not eat there) and afamily type restaurant where we had a wonderful breakfast from anextensive buffet that had anything you would want to eat. Although thehotel is a short drive from Adare that was not an inconvenience. Thedrive to the Shannon Airport is direct, quick and easy. The hotel wasexcellent value and would we would not hesitate to stay again orrecommend it to our friends.

Location is beautiful. Hotel is relaxing and staff friendly, a lovely place to take time out and feel pampered. Nice pool, didn't use the Spa facilities this time but they got very good reports from other guests. Only a short distance from Adare Village which is very historic. Nice for couples or families. Not the place to go if you want to party or like the disco scene.

The hotel was a fabulous family run hotel . The food was delicious, thegrounds really relaxing, the staff in this hotel are the best staff Ihave encountered in my many years staying in hotels in Ireland. All hada smile on their faces at all times, nothing was too much truoble andtheir job seemed to be to make sure each guest was treated like royalty.

Where do I start? We stayed in a stately home. It is beautiful and well maintained. We tried the tasting menu for dinner which was superb but did slightly regret adding the wine option as it turned out to be a glass with almost every course! We were slightly disappointed in the pool as it only offered a steam room but we did not visit the spa which we suspect was better equipped. Adare Manor is definitely a once in a lifetime, not to be missed, type of experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

I stayed at this hotel with my mum and dad, sister and brother and their family of 4 girls for my uncle and Aunts 60th Wedding anniversary in Adare. I speak for us all when I say we ahd a fabulous time during our stay here. The owner of the hotel, Mary was lovely. She was very welcoming and provided tea and scones for all of us on our arrival. As my dad is unfirm on his feet she was prepared to change his room for one downstairs without any question. During the course of our stay over the two days my father took ill and had to be taken to nearby Limerick hospital. Mary again was extremely helpful and rang a local doctor/pharmacist who was able to help. She constantly chatted to us and took time to provide the kids with cupcakes on both days, Toys and fruit was provided in reception and the whole hotel was spotless. The rooms were huge and each had a double and single bed. Ive been in much smaller rooms with fewer facilities for far more money. The breakfasts were brilliant a

We were staying in Ballycannon as we were attending a function in nearby Adare. The hotel is more like a guest house but the staff were fantastic. They gave us a drive to our function location free of charge. They are very conversational and lovely people. Breakfast was great in the nearby restaurant. Excellent value and highly recommended.

Enjoyed my 9 day stay & I cannot fault anything. The staff could not be anymore helpfull. My room was very spacious & very clean. A home from home comfort. The food was great, the best beef & boiled bacon I have ever tasted!! Good location, only 10 mins to the village of Adare.Wouldn't hesitate to go stay again.

Comfort and clean room, smooth booking. Only one very importent complaint:- Address of hotel is very misleading! It is not on the N18 motorway!! In fact we had difficulty in finding it,Why? because the infomation is out of date. I would strongly recomend you look at this problem from all directions as to the approach to the hotel is not seen from the N18 at all! We continued from the south via the tunnel and toll booth on to Bunraty and turned off there to retrace our jurney towards the hotel via the road to Limerick passing four rounderbouts the last one named on the hotel address list. If you were coming from the north on the N18 you would never find it! and sail right by it.Good directions will get you more customers. Thank you.

Stayed here briefly for one night......the man at the reception desk wasvery friendly and nice so no complaints there.however when I got to theroom it was like walking into a freezer. I have never been so cold in ahotel room. The bedding was very thin and I actually got a cold after mystay.Pity because everything else was nice.
