We didnt enjoy our stay and would not return. You have to drop your bagsat the door and go around the block to park using a car lift and a code- all very stressful. You have to walk back to the hotel from car park -it was raining and we got very wet. The receptionist were very clinicaland not friendly or warm. The bedrooms are old fashioned and very darkas is the whole hotel. We like to open the window at nightime but wecould not as the air conditioning and heating unit were outside ourwindow and was so noisy all night. We never slept at all. We didnt eatat the hotel.

Our room was large, laidout nicely and well-appointed. It was a great location, near everythingbut quiet, safe and peaceful. All the staff we interacted with were veryfriendly and accommodating. We stayed 3 nights and felt we were able torelax and enjoy ourselves.

Fantastic hotel. I have stayed in hotels in various locations around theworld and have more often than not been left disappointed for variousreasons. Most commonly the main reason has been based on falsifiedadvertising. This cannot be said of The Burlington. If anything I wouldsuggest the hotel is under-sold for what it offers. The parking facilitywas such a bonus, ample space and free. The presentation of thereception area and bar were fantastic. Smoking area was sheltered andcomfortable. Staff were most helpful, humorous and friendly. Havingpreviously read reviews about the hotel and amenities which had statedthat the hotel needed updating. I can only imagine that these people hadspent the whole hotel stay in their 1980s cortina. The rooms were topclass, in every way. Design and comfort were beyond my expectations.Definitely will stay again, before tipp win the all-Ireland next year

This is a comfortable hotel at an affordable price. We have stayedbefore and have found the staff to be extremely helpful and verycourteous to guests. It is a very busy hotel and sometimes the lobby canbecome quite crowded as a number of tour companies use the hotel.Overall we have no complaints and look forward to our next visit to theBurlington.

It is good if you are looking for cheap accomodation, staff veryfriendly and helpful, provides towels, a bar of soap, plastic cup inroom and tea/coffee in shared lounge area. Basic but clean. Was roughlyhalf way between the airport and Croak Park (where events are oftenheld). It is about an hours walk into the city centre, but there arealso 4 or more buses that go from outside the accomodation into thecity. Costs between 15 and 25 euro (depending on time of day) to reachaccomodation from the airport in a taxi - watch out for taxi driversthey tend to rip you off (although very friendly!)

I enjoyed the fact it was out of town but still very handy due to theregular bus services. The campus was pretty and there were some lovelyplaces to walk and sit. There were lots of kids there doing summerschools, which did put me off a little bit- as a teacher I like toescape kids during the summer! The food was great and if you have thebnb option, you don't need to eat until evening time as you can have amassive breakfast. I would stay here again- it felt very safe travellingby myself, even after dark it was fine.
Akosua  — 13.1.2012.
I was attending a training weekend at the Marino Institute and it was way cheaper than staying there. Also I liked that it was en-suite and I had kitchen access. Fantastic that I could use the internet also. Lovely grounds and closeby park. Great that you have a pool and gym facilities. Had good directions from very helpful staff with all the information I needed.

First and foremost, the location. It is very convenient to reacheverything. The Dublin airport bus practically stops infront of thedoor. The staff are just superb and very helpful. They were soaccomodating and even prepared breakfast for me at 6:15 in the morning.Everything is very near and very safe to walk around even until past tenin the evening. Well, I was alone. The shower was just perfect and cleantowels. I would really be staying in this hotel whenever I am in Dublin.Yes, it is very quiet, too.
Rosaleen  — 7.12.2011.
Tlhe location is excellant - city centre - and value for money isexcellant. My sister and I shred a twin room for one night with freecity centre parking and a full Irish breakfast and just a five minutewalk to the city centre. Fantstic value. Very helpful staff and roomclean, quiet and warm. Bed was a little bit uncomfortable but for thatprice whos complaining. Would have no hesitation in recommending thisHotel to friends etc and have done so since I returned.
Lynn  — 25.2.2012.
The staff are friendly & welcoming. A good cooked breakfast, served within minutes, was included in the price, unlike alot of hotels. Clean & very comfortable beds & good sized en-suite. It is conveniently located for both shopping & the Temple Bar area for nightlife. Room checkout is 11am but there is a locked luggage room available which we made use of until our teatime flight home. Would definitely stay there again.

Irene  — 27.2.2012.
We stayed here just for the weekend to go to the 02 arena, which thestaff were very helpful giving directions, it was a short tram or taxiride away. Right outside we got on a tour bus which took us around thecity, I found this very interesting as you got to see everything in asmuch time as you needed. The entertainment in the hotel was great wedidn't need to go out and about we could could just fall in to bed whenwe were ready. What I really liked best was that it was situated rightby the river Liffey and central for the shops and bars. Overall I had abrilliant stay and could recommend this hotel.
Anne  — 14.2.2012.
It was a convienent location for our party of 8, being 4 golfers andtheir wives. The golf was only a short distance from the city and therewere numerous attractions for the wives, including shopping, on thedoorstep. The rooms were very pleasant and there was a warm welcome fromthe staff. We had dinner with entertainment in the hotel one night andfelt it was good value for money. The other evenings we ate in TempleBar which was just accross the river opposite the hotel and had a wideselection of places to eat and drink! Excellent value all round.
Anthony  — 22.11.2011.
We were extremely surprised at the overal high quality of this hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient, our rooms were ofa higher quality then we were probably expecting. The eveningentertainment was first class, alcohol prices reasonable, all finishedwith a huge Irish breakfast in the morning overseen by probably one ofthe friendliest head waitresses I have ever come across. All this andthe fantastic location made our stay an absolute pleasure and will mostdefinetely return here.
