The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The location wasconvenient to be right in the middle of the town. The food in the hotelrestaurant was also excellent.

Good location, very friendly staff and large room with lots oftea/coffee/hot chocolate and kettle. The only hotel we have stayedin Iceland with a bath too! If we had wanted, we could have hired abike for free.

Everything was solid considering hotel's categorization, and breakfast was slightly better then other similarly rated hotels in Iceland. Price is high but good compared to other hotels on this side of Iceland. Staff was nice and helpfull with info about the area.

Owner Hjalti was extremely helpful and kind, After we've got anaccident, he offered us great help and sort out various method for us.Without him it would be a mess. He also drove us to the car company torent a car and left us only after making sure we were safe andeverythings well arranged. So nice of him. The hotel itself situated ingood location especially for you short stay at Egilsstadir. Highlyrecommend and value for money

good location for northeast iceland excursions. ... we changed plans and stayed @ a # of other edda hotels. they offer a free breakfast on your 3rd night and a free stay on the 5th. ... very friendly, helpful staff(s) and consistently nice, clean, and comfortable hotels. highly recommended.
