Visited Szeged for the Canoe World Championships which started very early each day. The restaurant was open extremely early and the quantity and quality of foods available was excellent - which got us off to a good start for the day. At the end of a long hot day at the event the hotel was cool and comfortable and an ideal base from whcih to enjoy the city in the evening.

The location just on Tizsa shore make this hotel to be a particularplace. The park and people streets nearby complete this beautifulplacement. It is not necessary to mention the modern facilities, andthe kind hosts. Shortly, if you want to stay somewhere in Szeged youhave to choose Novotel Hotel. One condition: for a best rate you haveto book early!

We had a problem with the car we rent and the employees really helped usa lot. They dealt with everything about our problem. It was very kindfrom them. Nous avons eu un problème avec notre voiture de location durant notre séjour et le personnel nous a beaucoup aidés. Ils se sont occupés de tout et c'était vraiment très appréciable.

Staff was great! Breakfast was wonderful for the cost of the room, couldnot be beat. Old hotel, but the old luxury is still there if a bitdated, but who cares for the money and location. Air conditioning workedwell in the room.

The building is really gorgeous. To pity that the interior decorations are poor. The locations is really god straight in the downtown.

Extremely friendly and helpful front desk clerks. Those girls do theirwork well and with a smile. They also speak English, which is not to betaken for granted at all in Hungary. Vicinity of the Aquapark. Had a great time there.

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel in a very quiet location but close to all the sights of Szeged. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, with good English. Restaurant good. Room a decent size, with a large bed. Enjoyed the jacuzzi; didn't try the sauna as it was 33 outside anyway!

The hotel was so close to everything and tucked away enough to besomewhat secluded. The staff were amazing and the rooms were awesome. Werented the apartment and it was very convenient. The mini-bar was prettyhelpful too and not too expensive. Awesome buffet breakfast!

Staff were fantastic! You are 100m from the center of the city. You canget a free parking easily! You can drive in front of the Hotel from e-75highway very easily! Room was clean! I have found my hotel for the nexttrips to Szeged!

This is a nice local hotel in Szeged which is pronounced Seged, the Zedis superfluous. It's a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and thestaff are helpful and speak good English. I liked the quiet location andthe secure parking which is in a courtyard through the building. It'seasy to find and there is a good spa opposite. The rooms are fairlybasis but the breakfast was good and as always in this part of the worldthe coffee was local, so basic. I'd go back. .

The hotel has a very good location: 5 min. by walk from the railway station and 10 min. from the Dom Square. The hotel is very nice, clean, safe and the hotel personal is very kind, helpful and speak very good English.

Good welcome. Secure parking. Close to the beautiful city centre andwide range of restaurants etc. Room on road side of the building buteven with the window open overnight the noise was not a problem.

A good clean, cheap Hostel. Our room on second floor was quiet, awayfrom larger dorm type rooms below. 2 fridges were provided and a watercooler which were invaluable as the temp was between 37-40c for all 6days. Very good value for money.

I stayed there for the whole month of August 2011. My original plan was to stay there for 2 weeks but I extend my stay to 4 weeks because I liked the place. The staff and welcoming was excellent. Very laid back and helpful.There was always someone who spoke English. I had my own key, there is a big, well equipped kitchen (I should know, I managed to bake pies in the oven), a terrace where you can enjoy your evening or morning beer. The prices are really good and all in all it is a good place not only for overnight stay but for longer period, or with family. One thing to keep in mind, though -- the location. Hostel is located in the "new" part of the city, it is really quiet there, so keep in mind that by foot it takes about 30 minutes to reach the center. You can take bus, but buses come not that often. But if you travel by car, no problem, 5 minutes.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I left my cell phone inthe hostel and they even mailed it to me.
