The owners were extremely hospitable and so was the rest of the staff.The hotel's location is fantastic; as it is located quite high on themountain, you get a great view of volos and other surrounding villages.The room was fantastic and very comfortable as well. The food andservice at the restaurant were great, including breakfast which wasdifferent every day! Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. Iwould definitely recommend this hotel for couples who are looking for aromantic get away!

This small 5 rooms hotel is absolutely fantastic (viewing Makynitsavillage, Volos and the sea)!! The view from the all hotel is amazing,the rooms are very spacious in mezzanine with a living room, the hotelhas a restaurante (food is very good and you can also have meals evenyou're not an hotel guest) and the service is fantastic. We stayed 5nights with our 4 months baby and all the staff was very helpful when weneeded to heat the bottles or sterilize it. So if you're looking for aplace to stay you just find it!!!

Very beautifull place with marvellous vieuw. It's a pity that there are so many things not quite good. In the whole appartment is only one mirror, in the toilet, where also is the sink. There is no separate bathroom but only a shower almost next to the bed that causes a lot of humidity because of the lack of ventilation. The bedroom could become very hot in summer because there is no window that can be opened. One could hardly open the shower door, as wel as the front door. The toilet is downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. The position of the open stairs in the appartment is unhandy for somewhat older people. One could not open the wardrobe because the bed was standing against it, so we had to move the bed.The breakfast in the restaurant started at 10.00 o'clock. But the owner of the place is willing to serve breakfast in the appartment as early as you whish. The owners of the hotel are really very nice people, so I'm sorry that I have to write this.

Spent 3 nights at the Kritsa Hotel in early September. Our room was almost a suite as we had an additional sitting room as well as bedroom, all for a reasonable price. Hotel staff were always helpful & informative and the buffet breakfasts were amazing, so much choice & in abundance

The hotel is situated in a lovely square in the middle of Portariashaded by huge plane trees. From the minute of our arrival the ownercould not have been more welcoming and helpful. It is easy to see whytheir restaurant is packed day and night. The food is sensational andthe service excellent. We were so sorry when it was time to leave.

Because of the explocive in Limassol I almost forgot the beutifull timeI spend in this nice little Hotel which is build in a very nice locationin the central sqare in Portaria.It sarounded with big platans and younever feel the heat like ather places.The rooms are spacy and clean andthe only proplem we had was the shower which I think can be correct withlittle money for excample if the curtens of the shower be replaced withsomething else.But anyway the fact that everithing else was very goodThe excelent breakfast to start the day was something else.You can notfind any ather restaurant like this at night. The food was excelent.IRecoment the "Glossomagoula" and the cheese saganagi.I Will for surevisit again this place in the future.

Very nice view, wonderful countryside, very good food (around thehotel), comfortable rooms, very good service. We like it and werecommended for visit and vacations (you can joy mountain and also verygood beaches for the summer)!

Hotel is well possitioned in the center of the village and could beeasily found. Public parkings are very close to the hotel what isimportant in such places where parking could be an issue. Staf isfantastic and unbelivably kind. Impressive view to Volos.Surrounding worth to see, both Portaria and Makrinica village whichis just 2 km away.

The hotel was great. Alice, who owns the hotel was very accommodating to us. She helped us to our room, opened the door and asked us several times if everything is ok. The room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable. Our deal didn't include breakfast but the breakfast looked very simple. We went to the same bakery that Alice goes and bought bread. For 30 euros a night ( it was a flash deal) , we got more then expected. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Wonderful rooms with fireplace. Unique,rich breakfast. Beautiful lobby with fireplace. Unique position inthe square of Portaria with free parking next door. A real value formoney hotel.

The staff at the Pelias hotel made our stay wonderful. They werethere to address all our concerns and cook up a magnificent breakfastevery morning. George's tips on things-to-do around Pelion made planning our days very easy.

The hotel is very comfortable, and in the heart of the village. The staff were particularly helpful, and went out of their way to assist us in planning the next step of our journey, by ferry. We were keen to stay a further night, and even although the Pelias was full, the staff arranged for an alternative hotel. The breakfast choice was good, and there are several restaurants nearby.
