The hotel is located close to the ferry, metro and bus to theairport. Check out time is 12 which is a great time and thebreakfast buffet is simple but 6 euro is a fair price. I stayed alonein the room and I had enough space. I would for sure recommend thishotel, also because of the helpfull staff, if you have to spent thenight at Pireaus.

Excellent value. Included shampoo which is more than I except from a cheap hotel. It was Rakadiko. Better thanmany that followed at higher price.

The reservation was immediately recognised by a friendly receptionist who gave us clear directions to the port of Piraeus, the Blue Star ticket office and a good, reasonably priced restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable and totally free from traffic noise or noise from other hotel users. We were able to make an important telephone call with the help of the receptionist and the chap on the morning shift cheerfully called up a taxi for us which arrived within a couple of minutes. You would have thought we were staying for a week rather than simply overnight and quite probably once in.

Though we don’t have much time to enjoy the hotel itself, I would also recommend this hotel (or at least the experience we had in this hotel) to others. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is actually the most impressive thing in this hotel which I enjoyed very much and would rate as the first among three other hotels I stayed in this time. The price is also reasonable.

Piraeus Dream Hotel is great value for your money; if you ever take a ferry from Piraeus and have to stay there the night before/after, this hotel is the perfect choice; rooms are clean and nicely furnished, staff very friendly and competent, close to train station and ferries; admittedly, Piraeus as such is not really nice but the hotel is highly recommended if you have to stay there!.

The hotel design and decor was bright cheery in excellent good taste and very comfortable. The morning front desk person was very helpful. Good towels in the bathroom , The location was excellent. I had stayed in another Piraeus hotel when traveling to the island , the cost was the same , but the quality was far inferior to the Piraeus Dream.

The hotel is very close to the main port, just 3-minute walk. I arrived Piraeus at midnight from Santorini and the hotel was a perfect place to sleep for the flight next day. This hotel was clean and especially it was a good value for the price. I highly recommend it for everyone who wanna take the ferries the next day or you arrive Piraeus very late.

This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from both the Piraeus metro station, and the Port, which was great since I had an early ferry the next morning. Good hotel for getting some quick sleep overnight.

The only advantage is that the hotel is near the port of Piraeus, soif you are coming back to Athens on the late ferry - it is close. If Iwere to do it over, I would make the trip away from the port to anicer hotel.

The main reason we chose this hotel was the free shuttle bus servicewhich proved to be much more important than what we initially thought. Although some hotels in Piraeus appear to be close, they are actuallyquite far from the new blue star ferry gate, that is e3 ( a remote gateon the huge Piraeus port ). As a result we didn’t have to carry ourheavy luggage as that would be the case if we chose any other hotel inthe area. Phidias Hotel is a definite recommendation.

First of all what makes Phidias Hotel attractive for us is the location of it. It is literally at the center of Piraeus and nearby everything you need; the port, the marina, shops, both classy and moderate restaurants and cafes etc. For those who are more curious about Athens, again Phidias Hotel will be a good choice because it is only 20-30 minutes away from the center of Piraeus by bus. I can say with certainty that you can stay in Phidias whether you prefer Athens or Piraeus to sightsee.

We chosed this hotel because we had an early reservations to Santorini’s ferry so we searched for an hotel next to the poirt. But, all in all it was very good for us and at a goos price. A big plus is the parking-private, next to the hotel. We slept very good.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful. We arrived at the hotel at 5. Instead we were given a room by 7am and even got upgraded from an economy double to a standard double for free which was a pleasant surprise! The room was very spacious and clean and even had a balcony with views over Piraeus city. The port and metro are within 10 mins walking distance from the hotel and athens city is another 20 mins away by metro. Overall its a great little hotel if you are l.

I stayed here alone for 2 nights last weekend. Location is just up the street from the center of Psiri which is a 1 minute walk from Monastiraki square and the metro stationç. Overall, this hotel is great value for money, nothing negative about it. The staff were very helpful too.

We first stayed at the Diethnes Hotel in late May 2011 and were verypleased with the hotel in all aspects. We have now stayed there for afurther four nights late July 2011, and have been thoroughly impressedwith the hotel - all of the staff are very helpful - the cleaner,breakfast person, office staff, reception - day and night, the roomfacilities were all that we required - airconditioning, own bathroom,tv, comfortable bed, balcony, breakfasts (included in our room rate)were excellent. The hotel has been fully repainted during 2011 - goodcolours and drapes, the rooms are clean and also clean.

We had an excellent experience staying there. The hotel is located close to Larissa metro station, in a residential area of Athens, the customer service was excellent, the front desk personnel went above and beyond to accommodate us and helped with any questions we had. The hotel was very, very reasonable and We will stay there again in 3 years when we are back to Greece!!!!.

Really impressed with the hotel and the two people running it - John and Aris (father and son). The hotel is everything we could have asked for - spotlessly clean, well maintained, and spacious, comfortable well appointed rooms. Only real downside is that the area isn’t brilliant - bit run down. But, that said, I would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again and recommending it to anyone -.

The staff were excellent and very helpful, the services very good, therooms clean and comfortable, breaksfast is basic buffet typw, but morethan enough to set you up for the day. The hotel is excellent value for the money being located so near to thecentre of Athens and it’s difficult to fault the service they offer;they were happy to keep my bags until 20. 30. I have used other similar hotels in the area in the past but thisis the one for me from now on!.
