The Isalnd of Hydra is what I loved the best. The hotel was sooverpriced that I am embarrassed that I spent the money when there wereso many, many other quaint And affordable properties. There was no pool,it is a little 4 person above ground spa. The air conditioning shut downevery time you left the room, so when you returned and were hot, you hadto wait to cool off. The pillows were like lead.The free wifi shuts downevery 15 minutes and you must reconnect. Yu get one bottle of water thefirst night. Don't go and throw away your money.

Our stay at Angelica Hotel was a nice surprise - the hotel is located inthe heart of Hydra, in a very quite area, just about 200mt from theport.The rooms are very comfortable, fully equipped, we had a hugebalcony (finally I booked superior room not a standard ) and I alsofound all korres product - that I love !The owner was very kind andhelpful.I Recommend this hotel for people that like to stay in a verynice place.

Nice spacious room and nice decor. The hotel seemed to be quite new, sofacilities were good. Reasonable choice for breakfast. Bear in mind thehotel is not in the centre of town, so prepare for a short walk uphill,but this also means it is quiet at night - nowhere is very far in Idhra.

Nice spacious room and nice decor. The hotel seemed to be quite new, sofacilities were good. Reasonable choice for breakfast. Bear in mind thehotel is not in the centre of town, so prepare for a short walk uphill,but this also means it is quiet at night - nowhere is very far in Idhra.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was a real pleasure justwalking into the front garden, where the breakfast was served (which wasreal good!!). The location was great, a couple of minutes walk to theport but still in a real quiet area, we never got disturbed by anything. The beds were a bit too firm for us, but that is just a question oftaste! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would surely returnmyself if I return to Hydra :).

The hotel was very clean and very convenient as it was near the port, the shops/restaurants and the seaside. Also, in spite of being near bars and restaurants, it was very quiet. Quite good breakfast.

We took a balloon ride with local group that the hotel recommended. It was a great time and the hotel gave us a very good group to do this with.

Our stay at the mistral was excellent. The hotel itself is in a lovely setting with a gorgeous courtyard in which a wonderful breakfast is seved. The rooms are very clean and served us well. Hydra is a very special island and the hotel was perfect for our stay.

Hydra Hotel was wonderful. Our hostess was one of the nicest people I have ever met, who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, relaxed and happy. The actual hotel feels like a historical villa perched on a hill overlooking the harbour, however it is equipped with all modcons (air conditioner, modern sewerage system - which is rare on the Greek Isles) The rooms were very clean, and the cleaning staff were like little cleaning faeries: they were swift, thorough and they never lingered around so we were free to hang around in the room and come and go as we pleased. The breakfasts were lovely, with delicious mini pastries, thick creamy greek yoghurt and some excellent sort of panetone-like cake that was scented with orange and speckled with dark chocolate chips. The only down side - and if you consider it a downside I suggest you don't go to Hydra - was the steps you have to climb to get to the hotel and just about anywhere. However the view is definitely worth it, and for the

We cannot say enough about Katerina and her hospitality during our stay in late June. She helped us make alternative arrangements to get to and from Hydra when the transit strike in Athens shut down the ferries. The rooms were the best we stayed in during our entire trip to Greece, clean and spacious. Ask for the room with the balcony, if available, for the best view of harbor. Great breakfast served on a beautiful terrace. The hotel is up the hill, so be prepared for a walk. However, if you don't like climbing stairs, you shouldn't be visiting Greece. Let the donkeys carry your luggage. Katerina was also very helpful with recommendations for beaches and restaurants. We hope to visit and stay with Katerina again!

While the hotel itself was a delight - large rooms, relaxed but smartdesign - the superstar was Katarina who added a sparkle to our stayright from the first hello. Excellent hospitality, a beautifullyrestored and operated hotel, and a great little island.

We cannot say enough about Katerina and her hospitality during our stay in late June.
