The location of the hotel is great if you are traveling by train--connected to the main train station. It is just a short walk to the center of the town where the Christmas market was located as well as a short distance to the old part of the town. The breakfast was good and varied..

The hotel was right next to the train station - great for an overnightstop which is what we were seeking. No noise issues, either. Room wascomfortable and you could walk out of the hotel directly into the citycenter where shopping and eating options were available. The "Munster",Germany's tallest steepled church, was an easy 5 minute walk. As thiswas just a stop over, we did not explore other tourist options there.

The buffet breakfast was very good in terms of varieties from cereals to hot scrambled eggs, as well as the choice of coffees. The room was small for two, but very clean and attractive.

As a chain hotel, the Ibis in Ulm is absoutly much better than someother Ibis in other cities. The facilities and room is very new andclean. Location is also very convenient from the train station.

I like just about everything at the Hotel Engel. The traditionalSchwabian atmosphere, the welcoming staff, the excellent restaurant, therooms, it's proximity to the autobahn, the comfort.... I have used itthree times now. The first on my own, the second with my wife, and thethird with a friend, both of whom were much impressed. It is perfectlysituated on my route from England to Italy, and I can think of no betterplace to end a long day's driving, or to begin the next leg of thejourney - refreshed and fortified. I look forward to staying there manytimes more, and would like to wish all the staff a very happy Christmas.

Hotel Engel is a very good hotel. Cleanliness of the rooms and the bathrooms is excellent. Set in a suburb of Ulm you will enjoy undisturbed nightrest here. Food is very tasty, the chateaubriand we enjoyed was excellent - as are the regional specials on the menu. Breakfast was very good. Staff is friendly and correct. We stayed here on our way down south and decided to stay here again on our way north.

we booked very last minute due to heavy traffic issues in Germany, check in went smooth, dinner was alright. There's a big safe parking place behind the hotel. The room was spacious and clean and comfy enough\ make sure you pick a non-smoking room if you are a non smoker!

Good accomodation, easy to find and free parking available in front of the building. The owner (english speaking) is very kind and ready to fulfill your request even by phone when not present in site. Very good and complete german breakfast.

First of all the ambience of the hotel is cozy, warm and traditianal bavarian. It was a homely experience. The keepers were very kind and thoughtful... We arrived late and they made sure everything was arranged for us. The breakfast buffet was nice. The room was clean and adequate. The location is very convenient for somebody visiting the town of Ulm, outside the hasle and bustle of town center while very close. Bus drops you a few steps from the hotel. The neibourhood is beautiful and quiet. It was a real value for money. I liked my stay there and recommend it!

The hotel was very clean and the staff, especially Martha, was helpful when we needed ideas about where to visit while in Germany. The food was excellent. Our compliments to the chef !!! The room was spacious and , as I said above, very clean. The hotel was a great value. I would stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

A good location, because of village setting and only 10 minutes from Ulm city centre. The staff were friendly, breakfast good value. A good location for someone wanting a city break to Ulm, as long as they had a car. Also good for very young families i.e. less than 5 years old. Families with older children probably want more facilities such as swimming pool

I booked a room for 2 persons but I have a little child and I told andwhen we arrived I found a very big room very confortable for a family.The breakfast buffet was so good and various and everything was sofresh. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant always been very kindwith us and with my little girl (they also have a little corner withtoys for children to make them play while you're eating). There is alsoa spa room which is free to use. We enjoyed very much our stay.Excellent price/services. The hotel is not in old ulm but it's verysimple to reach the historical centre by bus (bus stop near the hotel)or by car.

Hotel staff is very kind. It is lovely family business. You can check in earlier than stated in booking.com website(17.00 o'clock) and you can check out a little bit late.
