Very kind service. The room was neat and well equipped, Nice breakfast. At first glance, this hotel seems far from Meersburg (10 km) but is actually very well placed to visit Mainau Island and Uhldingen: it is only 03 km from the Uhldinghen port, which allows you to be in Mainau Island in 10 minutes (by boat). Thus, you escape all the crowd from Meersburg and the mess to park there. Parking is easy and internet WIFI available for free. Great for the price.

The staff was very helpful. The restaurant was great. We enjoyed having a private balcony on our room. The room was clean and bright, and the security was very good. It is nice that the hotel has bikes to rent, and it was a nice 3 km ride to some of the most scenic area on the lake and ferry to Minau Island, and easy to ride 8km total to reach Meersburg. The parking was great. It was a good place for bus tours to stop too, but the breakfast wasn't necessarily restocked after 9a. We would definitely return to stay longer at this hotel.

Dining room is impressive! Variety of superbly prepared lunches anddinners offered at amazing value. Breakfast (included with room) wasexcellent. Fresh bread and croissants, eggs, meats, cheese, and fruitalong with the rest of the standard breakfast offerings. In wine area,with good beer too. Staff and management family are multilingual, veryfriendly and considerate, and intent on providing good hospitality.Countryside is pleasant for walking or bicycling, and is good for arelaxing vacation. Local town has full facilities, but is quite quiet.Very interesting historic churches and castles nearby. Lake Constance(Bodensee) is just nearby and somewhat touristy so this hotel is a goodchoice, away from the crowds but within access range.
