the room was huge and had a great view. the pool was great. breakfast was very good. parking was right underneath the hotel and had a lift and stairs up. location was very good. lots of restaurants and shops and the waterfall are within walking distance. with the hotel the falls and museum plus public buses were free of charge.

Room 11 has to be the worst room in the hotel. View of the house nextdoor and the back of the hotel. For 150 euro, we thought we had a twobedroom apartment to sleep 4. Turns out there were three beds and acouch with a sheet over it. Some of the other rooms on the upper floorsprobably have a great view of the town, but not this one.

Manager and his wife were extraordinarily nice. Rest of staff was also nice, but manager and wife stood out. Bit of a walk to town, so you need to be aware of that. Upside is that being up the hill from city center meant that views of Triberg from hotel were fabulous. Every room has balcony. Great breakfast. Free admission to waterfall trails for staying at the hotel.

Rooms, Location, Reception, Restaurant all were excellant. Very co-operative staff & always happy to help. There was no Hot water Kettle in the room but they arranged it as soon as we called them to enquire. In the restaurant they did everything for our vegeterian friends travelling with us.

We stayed at the hotel with 3 young children (age 8, 4 and 3). We likedthat there was enough room for all of us to stay comfortably. The hotelwas a few minute from the waterfall which was a big plus. Andimportantly for me, there were plenty of shopping up and down thestreet! Breakfast was the best and had many options.

An enchanting old-world hotel in the city center. Our room was spaciousand the bed very, very comfortable. The bathroom was very nicelyappointed with a spacious shower with numerous shower heads. Althoughwe did not use it, the hotel has a well-known spa. Many localrestaurants were within a 1 to 5 minute walk. A beautiful waterfall wasonly two blocks away (all up hill). Shopping ranged from tourist kitchto high end shoes and clothing. This is where I found my cuckoo clock.It was a very short drive to a beautiful hill top area with wonderfulhiking paths.

Hotel was set in a small village near vineyards just outside of BadenBaden with only a short drive into the town. The proprietor was veryhelpful and gave us discount tickets for the spas which enabled us toget three hours for the price of two at Caracalla Therme (which is wortha visit). Two of our party arrived early and were allowed to check inquite a while prior to our original time. Hotel was clean andcomfortable with large rooms and a very large balcony area.

It is useful to know that this hotel is in the Sparkasse Bank buildingin the centre of the main street. Our hostess was helpful, friendly andwelcoming. The room was big and had lovely views over the town and tothe mountains. Internet was fast and free. Good choice of breakfastfoods and plenty available. Parking behind the hotel was free. It waseasy to walk to the waterfalls, forest and places to eat or buysouvenirs. Triberg is a beautiful town and The Hotel Central is anexcellent place to stay

A very good hotel (just a litlle tired) with an excellent location.The hotel was very safe and secure. The room was comfortable with agood balcony overlooking the beautiful town of Triberg and the BlackForest - walking distance to everything. Great Pizza/pasta restaurantjust next door. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff welcoming andfriendly. Parking at a location behind the hotel and a short walk.Wi-fi connection was good. Thankful to the staff for their honestywhen I had discoved that I had left my passport in the room afterleaving the hotel.

I liked that it was away from the town and up on a hill. We had anamazing view from our room #10. We had dinner at the hotel and had theTriberg Waterfall Steak which was so tasty! The staff was great spokeenglish. It was a very nice quiet place to stay for the weekend. I wouldstay there again.

"Authentic" German, small town hotel experince. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel and the walking path to the waterfall was right off the front door. Very quiet and peaceful area. Really enjoyed having the balcony off the room. For those willing to put a little effort in to get there; a good value lodging. Hotel restaurant food was excellent!!!!

This family run hotel in Triberg in the Black Forest gave us a big double room with a nice living area and bath with bathtub/shower. It included a wonderful little covered porch with a view of the forest. There are walking trails into the mountains that begin on the grounds. We arrived early and were given complimentary tickets to get into the nearby waterfalls trail which is a must for anyone staying in Triberg. Our luggage was stored at the hotel until we returned later in the day. The owner assisted us with carrying our luggage up a few stairs to our room. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel is up a very steep hill and winding road and it is fortunate we were driving. I could not haved walked up. It has free parking and free Wi-Fi in the lobby. The view from the hotel is great.
