What a fabulous place!! The village of Wolf is quite small by comparisonto other Mosel villages, but incredibly charming and only a few km fromTraben-Trarbach, one of the largest towns on the Mosel. We rented the2-bedroom apartment, and were very satisfied. And the hotel chef cancook!! Very delicious with a huge variation of schnitzel preparationstyles -- this is the place if you're longing for some real gourmet-style German food. Good wine too of course, right from the hotel's ownvineyard. We took a Mosel cruise to Bernkastel. Cool thing is while theboat departs from Traben, Wolf has its own dock and the boat pulls rightup - just walk down to the dock (3 minutes) and get on!! Overall justwhat we were looking for in a Gasthaus. We'll be back.

The hotel is in a quiet little town, lots of local winerys in the area to sample from. The boat docs are just down the street within walking distance to take a boat cruise up the Mosel.

Lovely, peaceful location on banks of Mosel. Excellent for walking and cycling. Food in hotel was excellent. Hotel itself was spotlessly clean but in dire need of modernisation! My mother was with me, and last visited the hotel over 20 years ago. It hadn't changed a bit....perhaps that is part of its' charm!

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel right on the Mosel. The interior is stunning, the balcony and view were exceptional. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The quality of the food was very good, the staff were very helpful and attentive.

For years, my wife wanted to stay at this hotel and you came up trumps.Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in and our room in theturret was magical, with a balcony off the bathroom. The setting wasperfect, right on the river and there was nothing to complain about. Wehired bikes from the hotel and cycled down the Mosel, stopping forrefreshments along the way. Unfortunately, we could only stay 2 nightsas we were on our way to visit friends in Frankfurt. Next time it willbe for longer. A truly romantic hotel, perfect in every way. Thank you.

This is a fantastic hotel for a short break. Not only is it very beautiful and totally spotless but the facilities are great. I swam and used the relaxation room late at night and early in the morning. The breakfast was marvellous both in quality and the ambience of the dining room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was very attractively decorated and had a fabulous bathroom. Traben Trarbach is also a pretty and relaxing town. The walk up to the ruined castle (and a beer at the top in the small restaurant) is well worth it. I will definitely stay again.

It had clean, attractive rooms and was well-positioned for touring theMosel Valley. The staff were friendly, and the price of the room wasreasonable. Breakfast was in a pleasant area and was better than theaverage "included" breakfast.

I liked the kindnes and the service,everything was clean and even tough our room was street viewing it was very calm.I woul recomend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Traben Trarbach.

We stayed for one night on an overnight break and will certainly return,the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were fortunate tohave a room overlooking the river and enjoyed the balcony views. Wereceived excellent recommendations from the menu for dinner and also ofcourse the local wine, adding up to make a memorable visit for all theright reasons. The hotel is very conveniently located just metres fromthe Mosel ferries, in a lovely little town.

Very well located, view Rhein river. Classic family style, but surely agreat adress to visit Traben Trabarch and the region. The fiull pricewould be excessive. Très bien localisé dans la vallée du Rhein, styleancien de hotel de famille, bonne adresse pour un curcuit fleuve etvignobles.

I cannot find a negative comment to make about this hotel. The room wasexcellent with its river views. Service was very good. The staff werepolite and very professional. The lady at the reception desk spoke goodEnglish and was very helpfull. I would recommend this hotel to anyonevisiting this area of the Mosel.

Great location. Right on the Mosell. There is a main road between thehotel and the river but there was still a nice view of the river andnoise was not an issue. Breakfast was great. Restaurants were steps awayfrom the hotel. Moseltherme spa is just down the road by car from thehotel. Traben-Trabach is centrally located on the Mosell betweenLuxembourg and Koblentz
