The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and the food was excellent. The location is very nice and central to the black forest region. If you want a quiet holiday in nature, this is a great place.

The playground nearby was great for the kids. The family room was verycomfortable with two separate bedrooms, at a reasonable price. Therestaurant on site was quaint with good food, and the small staff wasfriendly and helpful.

This is a lovely, spotlessly clean gasthaus run by a pleasant and very accommodating family. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. The food was great. Breakfast was good and the restaurant evening meals were especially good for a very fair price. This was a great place to relax, to enjoy the small village atmostphere, and a great base for exploring the Black Forest. Adequate parking was available. A great value!

The staff made you feel most welcome and make your stay enjoyable toremember in a very relaxed atmosphere. The cuisine was very good, theaccomodation was clean and comfortable and the service was first rate.Can't fault it.

When booking hotel accommodation, our preference is for a smaller hotel preferably with family management. This guesthouse has been in family for many generations and the owners of were exceptionally welcoming and the accommodation left nothing to be desired. Meals were excellent and good value.

Very friendly owners, authentic and excellent local cooking in thedownstairs restaurant. Took it as a good sign that most eating therewere German and a good proportion perhaps locals. Peaceful locationamidst the Black Forest and very handy for short drives to the mainattractions in the area. With a balcony room the view was great ( weknow others have commented on the church bells in the village but theydidn't disturb us in our room). Small town / large village but another 2places to eat and drink if you feel the need. No negatives but don't come here if you want exciting town attractions - its a local, peaceful place. This was just what we were after!

The holiday village is situated on the sunny side of a plateau (800 m) in the Black Forest and has little traffic, car parks close to the holiday houses. During school holidays: hourly childcare in the "Bähnle", a train carriage with locomotive which now serves as a kids club. Large public outdoor swimming pool (one of Germany's nicest heated outdoor swimming pools, extra) including mega slide, sauna and solarium. Please note: no arrivals on Sundays and public holidays.
