Room was modern, just renovated and spacious. Hotel is located at a neat little square with a number of restaurants in walking distance.

The Grafrather Hof is a very fine hotel. Definitely 4+ stars, some rooms are 5 star, others are 3.5 star, and the restaurant is 5 star. It's just a bit too expensive for routine business travel.

The price for the value was excellent. You get what they promise --nothing more or less. It is a ten minute walk (two-minute drive?) fromthe main railway station, with almost no commercial business (beside aMcDonald at the train station) in-between. The breakfast buffet isplentiful and good. Within easy walking distance are multiple grocery stores (Aldi, Penny Markt, Kaufpark, Rewe), if one wishes to use this as a "home base". The room comes with a stove top and a refrigerator ample enough to store as much food as you are likely to need for a stay of several days.

The rooms were very clean. We had booked 3 rooms to accommodate 5people. The hotel staff tried to put us close together, but one of ourrooms was then a smoking room. Staff graciously changed that room to anon-smoking room on another floor.

This is a great, modern hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and afriendly and helpful staff. There is good breakfast. The hotel is about a ten minute walk from Solingen main railway station (Hauptbahnhof). However, it is well worth the walk. There is a taxi rank (and a bus station) just by the railway station. Thoroughly recommended by this guest.

The staff was extremely helpful & friendly, speaking at least 3 languages & able to give advice on local landmarks. One block away from a beautiful castle which we toured! Good food & service!

Very nice personal. It's located between Dusselsdorf, Cologne and Wuppertal. It's the best solution when you are by car, and you plan to visit an exhibition in Dusseldorf, Cologne, and you plan to visit also all this cities.

The owner was extremely friendly and the food was great. The room wasold but spotless. The price was high at the time but this was due to atrade fair being on in the area and all hotels were very expensive. Thatbeing said the price was lower than others in the area.

Quite close to u bahn stops. Shortish walk from Messe Deutz db stationand Deutz High Street (small selection of bakeries, supermarket, banks,bars etc). Ok walk into city centre across bridges. Quite quiet area,despite proximity of bridge off ramp the other side of the park,immediately opposite. Breakfast was reasonable in selection/amount. Bedwas comfortable. Shower/WC was serviceable.

The staff was very very kind, giving instructive information about howto walk around the city. The location is excellent, just a 10-15-minutewalk to get to the Köln Dom and just across the street to the station. Avery convinient train leaves frequently to Koln-Bonn airport, justtaking 15 minutes to get there.

Stuff was very nice and helpful. We had a balcony to the room, which wasnice, although we couldn't really enjoy it, since there was only onechair in the (doubble)room. The inner city is quite close, just acrossthe river, and a train station is just across the street. Perfect for acity trip, and good value for the money.

I was warmly welcomed on my arrival and given a voucher for a beer at the hotel bar - most welcome! The hotel has some character, and is well located - OK, it's not in the city centre, and indeed it's the wrong side of the river, but you can easily walk into the centre within 15 minutes, or alternatively eat and/or drink at one of several bars near the hotel. Finding the hotel is easy enough, and it isn't far from the motorway network. Overall, a pretty good spot for a stopover.

Room was clean, nicely furnished/decorated. Hotel staff (specifically Klaus) was friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. This including waiting for our late arrival on our first night, and getting up very early on our second morning, to ensure we departed Koeln on time to catch our flight from Frankfurt back to the States. I would recommend this hotel, with its fine staff, to anyone!
