A great choice of hotel for a relaxing and informal family holiday inthe Black Forest. The service was excellent - friendly and efficient butwithout being fussy and formal. The food was very good - buffetbreakfast and great evening meal choice. Bedrooms are wonderfully cleanand excellent bathroom facilities - modern and tidy. Views are lovelyover the village centre. Excellent English spoken - which made a tripfor English very easy! A great location for nearby sites and also greatfor walking and cycling. Would highly recommend to anyone else wanting arelaxing break, with or without older children.

Staff very friendly and helpful. We were provided with good information on treks. The bicycles we rented from the hotel were almost new and well maintained. Our room was large with a good sized balcony. The bathroom was new and very clean. The food and wine were excellent. We had a great stay !!

This was a brilliant hotel - fantastic value for money. I stayed in one of the apartments across the road. Just outside the bedroom was a really nice and refreshing small river with a view from the bed into green trees. I cooked for myself and the facilities in the apartment were great. I was really impressed. The hotel is around 10 minutes drive from Baden Baden and its fantastic spas, so you will need a car. Just up the road the other way is a lovely walk through woods to a pretty waterfall. I definitely hope to stay here again.

We stayed in a double bed apartment and it was amazing. The apartment was very well maintained and they even had a fully equipped kitchen at our disposal. We only paid 31 euros per night for such an amazing room. Moreover, the staff are friendly and always available to answer your questions about the city. Once we were caught in the city without a bus back, the chef actually drove out and picked us up. If we go back to Baden Baden we'll definitely return to gasthaus auerhehn.

The room was very large and traditional with a four poster bed andlovely wooden furniture, as the room had a balcony we enjoyed a drinkfrom the mini bar admiring the lovely views. The staff were friendly andspoke good English, we enjoyed a evening meal in the Restaurant whichserved traditional food, it was lovely and very good value. We alsoliked the location of the Hotel as its on the main road and easy tofind, we enjoyed our one night stay and could not fault the Hotel.

Great room with view in this valley of the Black Forest. Service was great. Food and drinks were good and really upstandard. Spa & wellness were great. Walking and biking (bikes of even mountainbikes available at the hotel) on very well prepared paths.
