The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very cleanand quiet. The food in the dining room was excellent, and the servicewas great. We were travelling with a small dog, and when we arrived theroom was equipped with two dog dishes, one filled with water and theother filled with dog treats.....nice touch.

It was the perfect location to relax and unwind. The lovely little townof Schriesheim is just a 10 minute stroll away and there is a great walkthrough the forest to the hotels own vineyard!! The restaurant serveddelicious meals and my room was so comfy and spotless. I could havestayed there forever!!

Beautiful setting in mountains, great olde world chalet. Delightfulverandah setting for breakfast which is truly gourmet. Very comfortablebedroom with a roomy en-suite. I would recommend this establishment fora great German experience. Susan

The staff at Hotel Perkeo is outstanding. They treated us as if we weretheir only customer: never rushed, wonderful breakfast service, lots oftouring suggestions, and always a warm and friendly greeting. Also, youcan't beat the location of the hotel which is smack center of the mainpedestrian walk. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The most friendly an helpful staff of any hotel we have stayed at in Germany. You can always stay in a modern new hotel, but to stay in one over 100 years old and experience the old world charm, but with modern conviences is great. Nowhere else have we had staff bring an newspaper to us in English at breakfast. What thoughtful service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Perkeo is centrally located on the H-Berg Hauptstrasse and is an easy walk to the castle and the various markets, clubs, and bars. The hotel itself is clean, quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful. The young woman at the desk made sure we were taken care of at breakfast despite coming in at five min till closing. She also made sure we knew about the Christmas Market and the one weekend only special market in the Castle garden. Overall very pleasant weekend.

it's always a joy to stay at the hip hotel, and you're never bored, even if you have slept in every room. After our late arrival, the hotel staff still offered us a complimentary beer and some snacks, although the bar/restaurant closed already.

Without hesitation, my best hotel during my Europe for 20 day touris Hip Hotel. Hotel staff gave us the most awesome room isHeidelberg room. I am a mother of two sons, 12and 17 years old. Ienjoyed taking a backpack train tour, but the Hip hotel made ourtrip more luxurious tour.

We loved the quaint design of the hotel, with all different rooms havinga theme from around the world. The furnishings were very nice with anartistic feel. If we had come to shop, this would have been a primolocation. It's really a lovely hotel, and the German restaurant ischarming as well.

The design and decor in the check in area was instantly pleasing andrelaxing. Our room was a pleasant surprise. It was tastefully furnished,efficient, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was verypleasant and helpful.

The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. Nancy arranged for anearly breakfast so we could have a meal prior to our early train to theFrankfurt airport. The room was great and the views from the hotel ofthe old city center and the castle were outstanding.

The Hotel: It is a very small hotel but it is beautiful. The Room: Itwas a nice Suite with a very good view .But the room service was notgood enough , the towels are not changed routinely. The Ship: The hotelhas a small but nice ship , they spent a dinner on the river , it wasgreat and the staffs are very kind and expert too.

Firstly, we have to realize that it is the pub downstair and the hotelupstair. Suprisingly, you won't feel any noise from the downstair. Itwas wonderful. Secondly, the room is very very clean, and comforablebed. Excellent! Thirdly, the staffs are helpful. Finally, you will get10% off when you have meals at their pub. I really want to stay a bitlonger! Super! Also, the location is lovely!

Stayed at the Dubliner for 3 nights and loved it. Will certainly staythere again if i'm ever lucky enough to go back to Heidelberg. The staffwere friendly and happy and the actual position of the Dubliner,right inthe middle of the main street,was fantastic. Some reviews complainedabout the noise but we never found that a problem. At the end of the dayyou are staying above a pub in the busiest street in Heidelberg. Specialmention for the owner,Niall,really nice guy.

I stayed at the Dubliner for over a week (Checking out for a few daysto go to Bavaria midway through my trip) while I was attending areunion with former classmates. I was looking for a "non-American"experience and I got it!!! The pub was fantastic, rooms are functional,price was outstanding and location is perfect!!! The owner and staffwere very responsive to all our needs and made us feel right at home. Iam already planning on staying at the Dubliner for my next visit toHeidelberg and would recommend to anyone who doesn't need the typicalperks of a chain hotel. Do be aware that the hotel does not have an elevator. This was actually a plus for us because it gave us an opportunity to work off all the great food we were eating!
