We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was optimally sized. The breakfast offered was rich and we could chose from a wide range of products. However, it's better to come to eat earlier (we think 8 a.m. would be fine). I don't consider this disturbing, though. Moreover, we enjoyed the use of the Hochschwarzwald card, which grants free transport and many other free of charge activities in the area, to anyone staying more than 2 nights. Last but not least, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone, especially to those who like silent places.

Staff was very nice and helpful. We had dinner there both nights and it was excellent. My picky 9 year old even ate mist of his meal! Very relaxing.

The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They were happy to pick meup and drop me off at the Seebrugg Bahnhof. A generous breakfast wasoffered, and snacks were available, since restaurants were a mid-lengthwalk away. Beautiful location for hikers. Ten minutes up the road andyou are in the Schwarzwald on beautifully maintained trails.

Had a very pleasant stay and the owners were lovely and very helpful. The hotel was very homely and confortable and we had a room with a sink and small hob which was very useful. There are lots of opportunities for walks around the hotel. We were given a guest card which we were amazed gave us free transport on the rail system. We parked the car at the station, which was only a few minutes away, then spent the day hopping on and hopping off. Trains were hourly.

The hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and beautifullydecorated. The food was great and the owners were very nice and helpful.The hotel provides a visitor's card which allows free entrance to mostattractions in the region.

We loved everything about Landhaus Muhle Schluchsee. The room with abalcony was fabulous. Spacious and comfortable. The 500 year old homehas been renovated to keep the charm and history yet allow for modernconveniences. The breakfast was typical German style but plentiful. Thedinner prepared specially for guests was incredible. Katja spokeexceptional English and shared books and suggestions about what to seeand do in the Black Forest. Very peaceful location for some much neededrest and relaxation.

We could relax in a friendly atmosphere, visit some beautiful locations, enter free of charge at different attractions with the card provided by the host (Hochschwartzwald). The food was sufficient, the service without flows. The room (with a view!) was rustic yet comfortable and warm, despite the low temperatures outside.

The decor was lovely, it was very clean, the breakfast was good and wehad a blacony, although it was too cold to sit there when we were there.The proprieter and her staff were also very frendly. It was close to thetown centre of Schluchsee which had several shops and restaurants, andthe walks in the area are very pleasant: not too strenuous. On a clearday, on the hills, you could see the snow-covered Alps on the horizon.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and very clean. All in all, a very nice place to stay.

Good parking facilities, good location in pretty village. It was greathaving the free travel permit issued by the local authority. The trainstation was close by and we made good use of it making a very pleasanttrip to Friburg.
