As a stopover on a leisurely trip to the south as we did or a short stay in a pictures countryside this Landpension is an ideal accommodation and delivers what you would expect from a B&B – comfortable and nice rustic decorated rooms, modern bathrooms, a hardy and generous breakfast with handmade products of the region, all for an unbeatable price. Since there is no tele in the rooms you can watch television in the common room while the owner will serve a nice wine form the area or a good Obstler if you wish. And if you prefer to have dinner at this place tell the owners a day before and they will prepare it for you, house made Bavarian/ Austrian style. Expect to find the house filled to the roof with books and antiques. The owners seem to be bookworms and like old things. It actually provides a nice and cozy atmosphere.

Not so modern, but very quiet hotel with good facilities. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is very good, Staff is also very good.

Very nice old fashioned Hotel. Helmut and his staff are great and will help in any way they can. Room was big and comfy with a nice balcony and view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was amazing. Free Wifi worked well. Safe secure parking around the back of the hotel. Bad Reichenhall is a very nice town to look around with lots of restaurants and cafes. Easy drive to Berchtesgarden and Hitlers Eagles Nest.

Villa Rein is a very well run, comfortable, friendly hotel, ideally placed for the train station, the Kur Park, the shopping centre, restaurants and leisure facilities such as the Rupertus Therme Bad. Our day started with a hearty continental breakfast which always had something different to tempt us! Our room was made up while we were at breakfast and after a quick look at our emails we made our way easily up to the town to book a bus tour or check out the shops (so many delightful shops) or relax in the park with a book and listen to the fountain. We had a marvelous time in Bad Reichenhall and loved staying in this hotel. Our room was on the first floor with a balcony and a mountain view and we slept well despite the heatwave. Mr and Mrs Rein and their staff go the extra mile to ensure that guests are happy and are prepared to cater for individual needs. Wifi worked well every day. We extended our stay here and look forward to returning soon.

The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The selection of breakfastfood was amazing and delicious. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilitieswere very thougtful and useful. A nice touch to find a note on breakfasttable welcoming us to the hotel. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Very nice, typical Bayern building.Though the room was quite plane, it wa very cosy, and with a nice balkony overlooking the mountains. Rupertus Terme are just across the road - excellent to spend a couple of hours at the very end of the day there! Owners are very helpful and friendly, make you feel home and relaxed.
