The hotel is beautifully decorated and the furnishings are 5 star. Theviews from the River View rooms stunning. The hotel is immediatelyaccross the road from the river. Take a trip in the evening on the ferryto St Goar Haussen and come back as night falls the castles lit up onthe hills are worth the trip. Although the hotel does not have arestaurant at the moment there is a vast choice of places to eat on bothsides of the river. Oh to cross the river the cost is just 3 eurosreturn as a foot passenger. Breakfast was excellent, a huge variety offruits, cheese, meats, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and a great choiceof fresh bread plus cereals and juices! We were a group of 14 and no onehad anything to grumble about. Everyone would love to return.

Great location, fantastic views from the hotel, especially from thebalcony. Our room was light, airy, large and fabulous. The owner was veryobliging and made you feel welcome. He provided excellent breakfasts, andwould make omelettes of your choice if requested. Also if asked he wouldprovide you with `entertainment`in the form of singing andplaying.Located in a pretty village on the Rhine with a beatiful castlenearby. The village has some great eating places within easy walkingdistance.Passenger and vehicule ferries are 30 yards from the frontdoor,as is the station.A Great jumping off spot.Loads to see and do.Westayed for 4 nights, and could have stayed longer.

the hotel is located on the rhine. 20 steps and you are in the water!!. it is also has the benefit of the KD line cruise stop and pickup point..(.ask the lady in the booth to advise on trips she is really helpful.) The owner of this hotel is really helpful and accomadating. the room we had waas on the 3rd floor overlooking the rhine.. St goer itself is really quiet but there are a few bars but all closes down about 12..so it really offers a peaceful nights sleep. the breakfast is really filling with a good selection of rolls jams ,cereals cheeses and meats etc
